Ever since I originally saw it I would watch the clip from the episode again and again because it features one of my favorite characters in a really entertaining musical moment! Flash and Supergirl had a musical crossover already, but maybe they could pull all the shows together for a multi universe, time travel musical adventure!
to me this episode was really funny and I liked it a lot and it added a lot it was funny it was dark it was musical and it kind of remind me of The Buffy musical which to be honest is one of my favorite episodes because of the cast they did such an amazing job singing you know I mean Sarah Michelle gellar as much as she doesn't like to sing she's got a really good voice and let's not forget you know the other you know people on the show they were you know amazing and then of course you had the actress who was willows girlfriend Amber Benson and I'm telling you right now that girl can sing wow she is so gifted and then of course you had the other you know cast members such as James Masters and Anthony Stewart Head who is such a talented talented musician and by the way the song that Amber sings is called under your spell and it's a very powerful yet sexual yet very mystical romance song I mean there's there two lesbians okay let's get it right out there but the song is so powerful that you don't even care and I didn't even care you know I have no problem gay people to be honest I think gay people are the nicest people on the planet because so many people prosecuted and it's they know what it's like you know and I'm bipolar and agoraphobic so you know I respect the hell out of these people big time. but I was really shocked though that some of the cast members on legends of tomorrow could really saying you know I was really surprised at the one that caught me by surprise of course was the actress who is now the female werewolf and yes I'm not great with names I know but it was an amazing episode it was very different but difference good you know and that's what you need..

The detail and professionalism Legends put in music really culminated in the standout number. Other Arrowverse shows had musical episodes and numbers, heck the very idea of special musical episodes and number invited a cringe because it's so often mediocre and awkward. Not "I surrender" though, it managed to be cohesive and creative within the ep, and is an amazing lovely piece in and of itself. Thus me finding myself here nearly a year later to revisit the joy it inspires.
