Truth be told, as we are going aboard let's try to tell these people at home that we are going to school and not to work, or if they know that you work tell them you're on probation you don't get paid or something. Don't make a party before departure that you're going to make a lot of money... Sometimes it's how you boast about being abroad but it's also some people in the African continent who think going abroad is everything.
There are two types of people coming to Germany. One group is willing to learn the language and integrate by assimilating to the local customs. They often succeed and tell their story on YT. The second group expects to be pampered without making much effort themselves. They have little to boast about. Another thing I noticed about as an old German is that successful immigrants tend to downplay the efforts they made. They do not mention the thousands of hours they invested into their B2 and give a wrong picture to the people who stayed at home.

I think the family is the one selfish. When someone is overseas doesn't mean they are wealthy,they have problems of their own trying to make a better living for themselves. We have to find ways of making a living no matter where you are, stop dependency and be independent
She should make a copy of all her expences, send it to her relatives. If they still want money, it is time to tell them to fo. And, btw. this year, we have a typical german summer. And everything above 22 Grad Celsius is a waste of sun-energie.
People should learn to live within or below their means. Sending them money makes their life superficial to neighbors and eventually you become a working horse to finance their lifestyle.

As a person living in Germany, i can say life here is 🔥. Too stressful, to expensive, housing, transport, insurance. 😢
