This was a good movie & this was the best scene. I love the 1960's. They got the clothes and dancing down right. Wish they played more music in the movie
I love the girls, I love the music, I love the movie scene, I love the girls, I love the dancing, I love the girls dancing, I love the fucking WHOLE thing!
Little known movie but this is such a great scene. The girls in the movie are pulling off some great moves of early 60's dance. John got this one prefect he out Tarantino, Tarantino with this one with a little known retro music flashback movie dropin.
Not in the '60s, nor the '70s, nor the '80s, nor the '90s, nor anytime, were the wards of state psych hospitals filled with lovely girls that you might try to have a pleasant conversation with. You would want to keep your distance from most patients.
I hate to diss on Quentin Tarantino, but here's the deal: Tarantino can crawl back in his little ditch, because John Carpenter made him his little bitch with this awesome scene! Just shows who the REAL master filmmaker is!
It is because in reality all of those girls in the ward (including Kristen) are the multiple personalities of the traumatized Alice Hudson. Kristen is currently the personality being used by Alice Hudson. So all along, she was imagining seeing all of those other girls. When in reality they are not there, and Kristen is really Alice Hudson. So the truth was Alice turned on the music herself and imaged seeing all the other girls dancing along to it.
I love this movie so much

You can't beat John Carpenter. Besides Hitchcock, he's the other master of suspense.

Those are definitely words... except maybe "dropin"...
It's a great movie. Finally John Carpenter directed already a good movie since the remake of " Village of the damned "
Too bad about the ending, don't you think?
@@giosy0072 mmmh nah
@@jukeboxhero7070 Well, it's bad that in the end the protagonist doesn't know if she defeated Kristen or not, right?
@@giosy0072 Kristen wasn't defeated
@@jukeboxhero7070 Precisely. What's the point of making an ending like this?
Lyndsy Fonseca is a fantastic dancer.
How they dance...

I wish I could tolerate seeing this movie again. It was my favorite for a bit. Now Amber Heard's stupid face makes me angry and I can't get past it
Why didn't Kristen join in?
i noticed that too

@LM AO You are welcome! It is a great movie!

Why didn't Kristen not dance with Iris, Zoey, Sarah and Emily?
Go ask Alice when she's...
