  • Hi everyone,
    Oysters were originally cooked by fire as early humans had primitive tools that would have made it difficult to open oysters to eat raw.
    The evidence back to about four hundred thousand years ago. Oysters were placed over a fire or heated stones and cooked until the oysters opened up.
    Oysters were so important to the Greeks & Romans that the Greeks became the first to cultivate oysters, they were even used to cast ballots in the voting process.
    Today, Oysters are still commonly enjoyed by many as it is relatively affordable - though not as cheap as before. People crave Oysters for their briny or sweet taste (depending on the region) and enjoy them today in various ways- raw, steamed, fried, grilled, roasted, or stewed with other ingredients.
    I usually enjoy them raw by the dozen with a squirt of lemon for flavor and a little dash of horseradish sauce.
    Nevertheless, this grilled recipe is delicious, the secret is lots of flames and flavored butter.

    Ingredients
    Fresh Oysters (Min12 to 20 pcs) depending on the size)
    For the Butter sauce:
    ½ part Coarse salt
    4 cloves of garlic
    300g of butter
    2 tablespoons of Chopped chives.
    2 tablespoons of Parsley
    1 Red hot chili pepper
    4 tablespoons of Crumble Bread
    4 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese
    Optional: scotch whiskey
    Cooking-Time:
    approx. 3 to 4 minutes.
