Beautiful shots Acacia!! Never a disaster unless you drop your camera in the water while making a dramatic jump over the water😀! The Blue Heron shots were my favorites, great work!!! Back yard birding video in the future? Have a great week👍🏻
Thank you Barry! And great point! Never a disaster unless you drop a camera in the water! lol The heron shots were my favorite as well. It's fantastic that they are in my area year around! Always have the opportunity to photograph them! And yes...backyard birding video is in the future. Still have a few things to record for that one. 😀 So maybe not next week's video, but hopefully the following week!
@@AcaciaFikeNelson awesome, looking forward to it! One question, do you use Aperture Priority or Manual for your bird shots? I’ve been using Manual and adjusting shutter speed and also using exposure compensation to try and keep my ISO low (400). No right or wrong I guess, as long as it works🤔.
@@barrymedlin6587 I use manual. Typically a fast shutter speed (1/800+) and a wide Aperture (f/3.2-f/4) for a shallow depth of field/blurring the background. I then adjust my ISO depending on the lighting situation.
Love the inflight shot 👏, thank you for sharing!
Thank you! I was pretty excited I was able to capture the heron in flight. 😀

Sorry about your GoPro. We all have these moments, but good that it won't let your mood down. It's a beautiful spring morning. :)
Thanks! I did an update on the GoPro and it seems to be working a lot better now. I tend to not let those things get me down too much! 🙂
