Still here. Here for you Papa! I wouldn't exactly say I'm normal. 😀 I sold Comic Books for 24 years, then sold Guns for 10 after that, so that was a big change. Well, it was a Sporting Goods Store. They wanted a Veteran who knew a little about guns and equipment who could talk to people. I fit the bill. I hear you Papa. I feel like a Jigsaw puzzle with a few pieces gone myself.
That was one thing about being the Local Comic Book Guy, I was automatically the 'Cool' Dad! Everybody bought their Pokemon, Barbie cards, Disney cards, and all kinds of stuff from me.

always got your back, brother. you take care of yourself and your family and don't keep letting the stresses get to you. if need be take a time to sit by yourself and do some meditating. it helps me a lot to clear my thoughts and it's good for when you have migraines like i go through all the time. keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. love and hugs.

This is a great way for you to vent Papa, you know we are here for you always. It's good therapy for me also. You know I live alone. I don't have anyone to talk alot of the time. Keep these vlogs going it's good for you, and you help some of us cope with our stuff. You have your real family, but you also have this weird toy collecting family 😂😂😂. We love Papa G. Keep up the great work my friend.

I feel you. I’m in my late 40s and I’ve battled the same things you have been dealing with. I have struggled with a career, even went back to school to get an teaching degree and then fell out of love with the idea of teaching. With the exception of my wife and daughter, this hobby is the only thing I feel like I have. Sure I have good and bad days, but I only focus on the things I can change. I can’t save the world’s problems. You have to be your first priority and I think most people understand. Good luck to you. I’m a new subscriber so I look forward to watching your older content.
Thanks Weasel! I think what you just said is damn close to how I feel most days, I always have a difficult time trying to spit out how I am. It does feel weird that I am putting myself first after all these years but I know that I have to. Welcome to the channel and hope to see you in a stream or two!!

Nice papa, this is a good idea man. Don’t stop doing this if it’s cathartic and healthy, I for one am here for it. I can’t always catch the live streams but I appreciate you man. And I often find myself in exactly the place where this community we are all a part off helps me loose that vibe for a little while. We all don’t know each other face to face, well the majority of us but this is definitely a community of people who can call each other friends I think. And I find that really cool especially to see the sort of support and comments that are on here in particular. Keep on keeping on papa. Much respect and ❤ man

I can kinda understand the feelings . I myself am facing if I want to go back to a certain job I left last year. For the most part I liked working with of the crew . Other not so much . But at the same time I know I have alot of knowledge and experience to give to it. My problem was the stupid boss who manages nothing or realizes nothing ( like putting 20 year old supervising me ? With 2 years experience vs my 10 years ?) My plan . I'll throw my name in . If they don't take me back , they're fault and stupidity. And no longer my circus and monkeys. Hopefully things work out for you buddy . Take care man .
I Understand All of this. You know I do the same job as you do. I Know your job is super demanding & when you have very high standards to meet it can be hard on you both physically and mentally. And the older we get the harder it becomes. You would think it would be just the opposite but it’s Not.

I feel the same so far in my 50's. I haven't been happy in my last two jobs. Like you said, they are not my people, but even more so customer service/front desk is not the same or fulfilling anymore. All I want to do is go home when I'm there and that's not good. I end up so anxious and tense every morning. I need to find my place again. 🫂
