Hi folks Im watching in the UK & firstly have to admire that down trodden, defeated but "Up-beat " vibe you manage to keep, always always better days ahead. I know every team is different but when I see how the Red Wings have turned things around with the appointment of a sound experienced NHL coach I hope the boardroom members take note what is possible. No new players , just a new voice with sound tactics & the ability to get his message across to players of all ages & who's presence brings a whole new positive up-beat feeling to the squad & every connected to the organization. Man, southern California has to be able to tempt a coach who's carefully chosen. All the best in Anaheim but something needs to change that's obvious, if the same mistakes keep getting made then sadly the Ducks will be left behind. But the best of luck, Cheers folks!
I don’t understand why Gerard Gallant isn’t in the league anymore. I get that he has his own analytic team and usually butts heads with GM’s but I still think he’s a good coach and players love to play for him. I think he would be an awesome fit in Anaheim. Will never happen but I think he’d be a big upgrade and affordable.
I think what Cronin is saying about puck possession makes sense if that is how playoff teams compete for championships play. We can just be a rush team who gets one chance off the rush and then turns around and stays in our defensive zone for 5 minutes. I think that’s what he is trying to get at. Problem is he might not be the best communicator for this team, unfortunately. I’m still on the Gerard Gallant idea, or the exciting coach from the U18 USA team. I know that doesn’t always translate to the NHL, but it’s hard to not want to take a real hard look at a young coach who has seen success wherever he has been.
I don’t understand the plan. As a newbie at hockey, why does this team keep going after offensive talent and then force them to be hyper defense. I get trying to round out a players game, but isn’t it already a lot to come into the league?
Most teams would teach defense and offense, and grow the player on both sides of the puck. But all that seems to matter is Defense by Cro for some reason, and he can’t even teach defense right lol.
I think they realize these guys aren’t gonna win this year and are trying to make sure they round out as they age. They only get to be young once and you can’t teach an old dog new tricks
What do you think about the Potential Artyom Galimov Signing? I hope we can pull it off and think it will be a huge help having a winger that's dominating in the KHL
Totally forgot about him, til that news. But definitely exciting. The most recent thing I heard was that his KHL was trying to sign him still. Definitely would be interesting!
I'm starting to get sick of Doublin and his gentle giant play. Dude is a heavy weight and gets owned by guys half his size! I thought VB teams are supposed to be tough and hard to play?

Thank you! Yea, exactly changing a coach, just changes the team mentality. It sends a message 👏
i feel like verbeek is playing mind games with having cronin around..
WOOOOOOOOOOOOO LETS GO DML
🫡❤️
OMG Cutter on the 4th line?!?!? He has more production in less ice time than Leo. But he puts Cutter on the 4th line? Fire Cronin!
Weird stuff
Vegas coach 👍
I see the vision

The more I research, the more I like him.

Great points!
👍❤️
Feel like this coach isn't putting the young players in the best position to succeed. He holding them back. They clearly hate playing for him.
Bruce is still available.
Love that man!
Maui Magma?!
Oooo kinda slaps

Might as well send Z down to San Diego. This month of Feb will determine the season. 2 out of 7 wins my prediction.
Yea Zelly needs to play.
@duckmylife punishment, wear royal purple along with a Kings hat. At least with the hat you can get rid of it on the next hat trick for whom ever.
If Cronin is still the coach, ain’t no good FA will be coming unless you overpay.
Feels like it

So weird
Rather have some actual DEFENSeman than zellweger who has started to be the reason why we lost most games when he was in
Idk about that. Offensively his play has dipped.
What’s changed is zellweger started playing like ass
then put him back in the AHL or some other league. Don't let him maridade doing nothing.
Exactly, he isn’t going to get better on the bench!! Send him down.
cronin is dated
💯 he need’s to evolve….
top two lines in either order should be G-Z-K C-M-T
I like it!
