You can go to SAD and get all those pretty good loot, just not return to Orvel till you finish with other families (I usually do that just after getting car as it makes mid-game so much easier). Also Bishop's interfere with Lynette's quests. Therefore I usually accept Weston's counteroffer and kill Bishop instead.
