I've been playing for over half a year and I'm blown away by the precision of both players from so far back from the table. It is so hard just to return a full power slam, let alone return it with a slam of your own from that far back. It's soul crushing when your opponent returns your best and hardest slam, but it has to be gut wrenching to watch your opponent smack it back at full power for the kill.
Michel Ichiy I don't think that he mimic Ryu because there is not only Ryu played "Japanese penhold" in the world. And I also think his style is made when he was a child.
Anh Dũng Quách Well maybe its a coincidence, but a CNT member playing a Japanese Penhold on a competitive level? Even with very similar shots and footwork around the table?
Yes, he checked the hand a few seconds after the first opportunity. The edge is not so clear. Pontoise team also did not see or hear it, according to their reaction (all player standing up together at the same time). Of course difficult to say !
Eric Fountain no he didnt see dimas handshake at first, then when dima passes behind his back he is tapping his back in a friendly way and goes forward ..check the video again. And then after going to the other umpire he shakes dimas hand...he is not a douchebag
George D. In the full match on the last set when there was 2-2, dima thought the ball touch the edge but the ball actually didn't and they fight about that point over 5 minutes, so wang was very upset about that and didn't want to shake Dima's hand.
While he was in Chinese national team, he played as a J-pen player. His purpose is the same as Li-Ping, etc.... i don't suppose you wanted him to play reverse penhold backhand on a j-pen?
He does have, but his base training was supposed to be a RSM clone, just like karlospkc89 said. Too bad for him, he loses a lot of point due to the fact he has a weaker BH. Now that he plays in Europe he uses a RPB, and it does not compare anywhere with his FH.
With this cam angle nearly every Average Match Looks awesome

great match...and this is the angle that ALL matches should be shot from !!!
big match!!!
Wang jian jun was in China national team as a ryu seung min clone hao shuai is a timo boll clone so they can train with that style.
somehow I can't stop thinking that Dima started to "aah aah" on purpose in order to break his opponent's concentration. And he succeeded, indeed :D
Very little information about Wang Jianjun. Who can help me? How old is he?
He is born in 1980. He is the best friend of Ma Lin who trained together since childhood.
Zhe Feng Thank you! His style seem like that he was born in 90 ^^.
Anh Dũng Quách When in the CNT he played "japanese" penhold to mimic Ryu Seung Min style when he won 2004(?) Olympics.

What was the yellow card for? And why did Wang refuse the handshake?
Because he is a douchebag.
There was an edge at 2:2 2:0 for Dima which Wang Jian Jun didn't accept.

tremendo partido
lucky Dima
@Jerry Z: Neither did Malin. But he still was a legent of China and the World.
Thực sự đáng kinh ngạc khi thấy một tay vợt không có tên trong world ranking mà có thể đánh ngang ngửa với D.O :D
Great match but ruined by the fact that's the editing is sped up. Would love to see it in real time
Is it? I really thought they were just fast. Now that you have mentioned it, can't help but notice it.
Wang doesn't have the penhold reverse backhand, no wonder he couldn't make to the top in China.
While he was in Chinese national team, he played as a J-pen player. His purpose is the same as Li-Ping, etc.... i don't suppose you wanted him to play reverse penhold backhand on a j-pen?
He did have reverse backhand before...check his previous videos.
Wang Jianjun was meant to be Ryu Seungmin clone.
He _does_ have rpb. E.g. 5:38
