Love that #1 , the people have spoken haha ! Definitely missing a thrashterpiece from Destruction , 2001’s The Antichrist ! I would take Enemy Of God slightly over Violent Revolution , but regardless Kreator have been crushing it for the past 20 years !
Lots of great thrash has been issued in the 2000s, that`s for sure! MIA: MERCILESS DEATH - Evil In The Night, KRYPT - Enter The Krypt, KILLING - Face The Madness and HORRID APPARITION - Evil Reigns. And that`s not even including a ton of worthy black thrash records! Great episode as always...
The Merciless Death album did get one vote, as I recall. There were so many great albums that were listed. Frankly I think some are better than some of the ones that made this list.
Awesome video. Totally agree about N.1 & 2. Both Ironbound and Time Is Up are excellent imo. You just put me in the mood for some thrash. Cheers Scott 🍻.
I really enjoy the thrash videos you have done over the years. Probably my favorite stuff you've ever done! My favorite thrash album post probably 1995 or so would be Dekapitator - The Storm Before The Calm.
Lately I've been into the classic thrash metal. Recently I ordered 2 more thrash albums on vinyl from No Life Till Metal, Gammacide & Violater. The other day I played the first 4 Voivod albums back to back. Flotsam & Jetsam: Doomsday For The Deciever is up there too in my opinion.
It’s good to be in a thrash mood. Haha. You will LOVE Gammacide. Great band and a classic album from 1989. Thanks as well for the support. I will be putting out the new Vindicator vinyl this year.
A lot of great albums showed here. Love Ironbound by Overkill, great pick by the people. Would have voted for Hypnosia - Extreme Hatred. But a lot of great releases to pick from. Great video.
Great Choices! Enjoyed Participating! Couldn't Agree more about Accuser, definitely deserve to be in the big 4 and My Favorite Tutonic Thrash Band Hands Down! I do have an extra cd copy of Reflections?
Killer video Scott! Every album is awesome!!! Never heard of the Mortification release.. My pick would be Believer's "Extraction From Mortality"... Thanks for a great awesome video!!! Looking forward to part 2... Rock on Scott!!!
I really like WORLD PAINTED BLOOD too, nice to see it on the list. The TOXIC HOLOCAUST HELL ON EARTH album is great. Nice to see ANGELUS APATRIDA too. Didnt know you knew ULTIMATUM, nice to see them too, love that album. MEGADETH Endgame was a really good one. Great video.
Hi Scott!!! cool idea doing this ranking and showing releases from the 21th century..... also glad to see some cool surprises here, like Megadeth's "Endgame" a really good record, also seen older bands high in the list. Btw a little surprised not seen Suicidal Angels (greek band), highly recommended..... cheers and be well
I've been looking forward to this and it did not disappoint. Thank you! I was surprised to not see Municipal Waste since they really brought a lot of renewed energy to the scene and Voivod since they've been so excellent (though to be fair, they are tough to pigeonhole into any one genre), but what are you gonna do? The people have spoken. I need to go give a few of these a listen.
I'll check out Ultimatum's Into the Pit and Death Angel's The Evil Divide soon. I haven't listen to your band's music in awhile. Warbringer's War Without End, Madrost's Charring the Rotting Earth, Extol's Synergy, Havok's Time is Up, and Deliverance's The Subversive Kind are good Thrash records.
Ack...didn't see the video to vote...my top 10 had several mentioned in your video...some were same bands different release. Truth be told I was tempted to list several Flotsam & Jetsam releases...they are just killing it lately. Anthrax - Worship Music Avenger of Blood - Complete Annihilation Dead Head - Haatland Exodus - Tempo of the Damned Flotsam & Jetsam - Self-Titled Kreator - Violent Revolution Lazarus AD - The Onslaught Onslaught - Killing Peace Rammer - Cancer Warbringer - War Without End
Ironbound was the album that made me an Overkill fan. I never got into them back in the day. Now I”ve gone back and been listening to the classics as well, but this was the one that made me a fan.
Awesome video Scott it would be awesome to see you do other genres like death metal power metal heavy metal black metal that would be an awesome series of videos let me know what you think about that ideal
I could probably do heavy metal and death metal, maybe doom metal and 70s metal. I have very few black metal albums in my collection. Just not a huge fan.
Really looking forward to the new destruction album🤘🏻! Also I would suggest that you do a video of your favorite albums from the new wave of thrash metal movement (2000-present)
Exodus' 'tempo' blows 'em all outa the water .... Exumers 'the raging tides' and 'hostile defiance' would be in my top 5 . Cheers Scott , will be interested to see what you come up with .... keep on bangin; that head that doesnt bang.
Hands down agree with the top 5 bands. You could have picked any album from Havok to put in and it would have fit. Great list great video. Thanks Scott?
Great choices!! Warbringer is probably my favourite modern thrash band. Hope you find yr missing cd. A few I haven’t heard so I’ll be doing some homework
Hey Scott! Just like to say I love your videos they get me excited and motivated to discover new bands. Keep up the great work, oh and if I order from Roxx records do I get to track the shipping some way?
Fueled By Fire killer stuff, new material coming out. Love that Madrost. That Exodus is a monster release. I need that Sodom. I like and dislike slim line cases. Fantastic Havok album, I have that cover signed by the band.
Great choices. Really glad to see Havok and Power Trip so high, they would definitely be in my top 10. I agree that Testament should be top 10, but I would have selected First Strike Still Deadly, would have been in my top 5. Wish Enforced would have been there, if you haven't checked them out they're a must.
nice video love it. but I have a video request could you do glam metal list like you did in this video. I would love to see what will be on the list please and thanks for your videos. love watching them to get away from life.
Hi Scott, great video as always. I have a personal question for you though, as a fellow Christian, I have conviction about listening to bands like Slayer and Kreator because of the anti God/Christ lyrics. As a teenager i loved these bands among others, but at 48, and still a lover of thrash metal, I just feel I'm betraying God if i listen to this can't of lyrical content. Please let me know how i can get past these feelings, obviously you have found a way for yourself to enjoy this, so I would just like your opinion on the matter. Thank you, and God bless you and your family.
I would never try to convince you to listen to music that bothers your spirit. I honestly don’t spend a lot of time listening to bands with overtly Satanic lyrics. Too many great bands I enjoy to focus on Venom or Deicide, though I can certainly respect their importance and role in the history of heavy metal. However, it’s Far more important for you to follow the Holy Spirits guidance in your life. You can also learn something from bands whose lyrics criticize Christians and the hypocrisy that we too often portray. I love music. It’s my passion but nothing is more important than our relationship with God.
Ultimatum Into the Pit is an incredible album!🤘⚡🔥 still hoping for another album
Thanks brother! Appreciate your support. You never know. It may happen.
Love that #1 , the people have spoken haha ! Definitely missing a thrashterpiece from Destruction , 2001’s The Antichrist ! I would take Enemy Of God slightly over Violent Revolution , but regardless Kreator have been crushing it for the past 20 years !
Hard to pick from Kreator. They have so many great albums. Cheers bro.

Killer video Scott!! 2 of my top 3 made the cut!! 👍 that was cool seeing what albums made it!!!👍🤘🤘
Awesome video. Totally agree about N.1 & 2. Both Ironbound and Time Is Up are excellent imo. You just put me in the mood for some thrash. Cheers Scott 🍻.
Mosh it up bro! Cheers.
Into the pit for sure one of the best thrash albums for the past 20 years
Thank you.
Another great video......hard to pick a #1 for me out of those......I'd say Power Trip. Incredible
I really enjoy the thrash videos you have done over the years. Probably my favorite stuff you've ever done! My favorite thrash album post probably 1995 or so would be Dekapitator - The Storm Before The Calm.
YES! That's a good one. Oddly enough I JUST played that yesterday.
@@nolifetilmetal1 Awesome! Matt Harvey from Dekapitator/Exhumed has a band called Scarecrow, that you might like.

Hypnosia is superb.
Love your passion and sincerity for thrash, you say a lot of things I agree with and it's great your in a band, thanks for the channel.
Cheers bro. Glad you enjoyed it.
Great Choices! Enjoyed Participating! Couldn't Agree more about Accuser, definitely deserve to be in the big 4 and My Favorite Tutonic Thrash Band Hands Down! I do have an extra cd copy of Reflections?
I am super pumped about the Accuser reissues coming out this year on vinyl and CD.
Some cool things your viewers picked. I look forward to seeing your own list.
I'll tell you right now one that is missing from this list that WILL be in my list is HIRAX - The New Age of Terror.
@@nolifetilmetal1 Spoiler alert! :D

Yes, I have the Havok CD signed by the band from when we played with them some years ago. One of my go-to albums for sure.
I think avenger if blood drummer used to be part of the chat from heart of metal forum

Nice, I nailed 3 out of 5 lol.
Ha! Nice. Cheers bro.
I am surprised that Ultimatum - Into The Pit wasnt in that list. I think it got more than 3 votes but I could be wrong. Great list anyway.
Into the Pit was in the list.
Oh sorry. I dont know what happened but somehow I skipped that part of video and didnt see that. Haha
Very sad that the Tourniquet albums from 2000 up to now didn't make it to the list.
Nobody voted for it.
If megadeth has not been thrash what genre of metal do you think they are? Thabks
Did I see this dude at Testament, Exodus, and Death Angel show in Albuquerque, NM?
Yes sir. Killer show.

Kreator is more in to criticizing religion which i understand. Slayer is more anti god
👍👍👍
Cheers.
Destruction The Antichrist from 2001 is also killer
🤘😝🤘
Cheers bro.
Warbringer should have been top 10. No Municipal Waste. No Crisix. No Destruction. What is going on here. Lol
