  • BLOODVOMIT was a short lived (what a surprise...) death metal/thrash outfit with obvious for such band noisey sound and sloppy playing.
On their 1st rehearsal tape we have one shitty intro, one attempt to play HELLHAMMER's "Triumph of Death", one original song (a nice fast thrasher, unfortunately nameless) and SLAYER's "Black Magic" cover.
Actually BLOODVOMIT are much more skilled musicans compared to many other bands from that era, at least solo in the 3rd song doesn't sound like a monkey trying to portray Tom G. Warrior and covers are at least recognizable.
Unfortunately it seems like no photos/pics have survived. In the Italian zine "Extreme Noise" (November 1986) I've found a short review which is used as an illustration. Don't know if it's about this BLOODVOMIT or not tho... If it is, it's probably about the later reh. tape anyway.
The first "song" (D.W.I.) was covered by INTENSE MUTILATION on they "Son Of Bands Who Inspired Us" demo tape.
Here's the google-translation of that article:
"(crossed out text) the many influences they say they have, can be found in this rehearsal room tape where they play nine pieces (in which, however, the bass is missing). Thrash Metal with American HC influences, especially from NY bands. "
I DON'T OWN THIS MUSIC. IF YOU ARE RELATED TO SOME BAND I'VE UPLOADED AND DON'T WANT TO SEE IT ONLINE FEEL FREE TO PM ME, I'LL REMOVE THE STUFF.
