    How cool is this?!?
For my recent cover of Love Removal Machine I played my Les Paul custom through a Vox Pathfinder and a Marshall DSL60. I wasn't trying to mimic Billy's tones exactly, and i am really proud of the sounds I got!
Thanks Billy, for so many iconic rock songs and killer guitar tones! ⚡⚡⚡

Recently watched The Cult play at UEA in Norwich. I'm a long time fan of Billy's playing and guitar sound going back to the 80's and the Love album. My first proper guitar was a Black Les Paul Custom as influenced by the Sonic Temple cover and I still enjoy throwing in some early Cult stuff when playing with bands today.
I left the UEA in awe once again of Billy's playing, just magic, I've never experienced a band where the guitar playing and tone is such a big part of the experience. Very happy to see that Billy is still doing the extended intro and middle in Sanctuary, I always make my band mates do that when we cover it and gave them a very smug look at the UEA when Billy dod the same.. :)

@@RiggySmalls Yep the Beatles, Stones, Who Pink Floyd were/are English not American Jimi Hendrix had to go across the pond to develop his career cause Merrica couldn't give a fuck. Sabbath, Zeppelin,Priest,Motorhead, Maiden, and the Sweet developed the best music in the known universe. There would be no Aerosmith or McTallica. Star Wars was shot in England 99% of the actors were from the UK even Carrie gave Leia a English affectation. There would be no Lord of The Rings. All major scientific developments in Physics happened in..you guessed it British Universities. Eight out of ten successful American popular tv programs were all copies of existing British programs including 'Soap operas'
