    A Private Silence
    Poem Written by Roger Bucklew
I cross the open blue sky.
    Feathers stretched wide.
    Enjoying, a private silence.
    I can see for miles.
    Rolling majestic meadows.
Patches of trees, swaying with the Movement of a gentle summer breeze.
    Towns, with crowds of people,
Shuffling about, like herds of cattle.
This upper world is such a delight.
The sunbeams say, it's time to play.
A painted sky, floating clouds, reflecting,
    Casting shadows.
I have no closing roads, beyond my control.
I soar for hours, in a graceful manner.
    Absorbing the warmth,
    Of a brilliant sun.
    Roger Bucklew
