I see open windows. This Irisbus Cityclass Cursor was equipped with air conditioning, isn't it? Usually when the air conditioning is on, windows must be closed.
Hi, yes the windows are open. Yes the cityclass series of OASTH (Organisation of urban transportation of Thessaloniki) are equipped with AC. This video was recorded during the pandemic of Covid-19 and in Greece it was mandatory regardless of whether, the windows on public transportation vehicles must be open as a safety measure. That’s why the AC and windows were open. I know stupid but rules are rules and must be followed!
@@oasthbuses In Catanzaro we have a Cityclass Series with AC and the windows was closed even during the COVID 19 pandemic. Then, we have another series of Cityclass without AC that is stopped in summer in favour of the air-conditioned one.
@@cesaresantaguida9529 I see! We had very strict rules during the pandemic. Our Cityclass series is getting old (48 Euro 3 made in 2004 and 41 Euro 4 made in 2007) total 89 Cityclass buses but only around 10-15 are still in service. Almost all of those remaining buses have good AC. All of them are equipped with AC, but some are broken. Despite their name, this buses were working mostly in the western part of the city and outside into the suburbs and villages. But in 2020 the bus routes where they operated, were taken over by KTEL THESSALONIKI and in combination with the bad decision to nationalise the company bad maintenance allot of them were taken out of service and never got back. One week ago after 12 years we got 110 new electric buses from Chinese Yutong.
