The editor(s) need some extra praise for putting a red filter over Shayne and Amanda every time the warning light flashes red. Some real subtle stuff you don't really notice right away, but really brings the facecam and the gameplay together more consistently.

Amanda nailed it with “when they stay still or move really fast they are at their scariest is so right”. That’s why the jump scare animation for spring trap is so weird for me. He looks creepy, but mute the sound when he gets you, he just kinda awkwardly comes closer like someone trying to ask you out. Kinda takes the wind out of the jump-scares when you notice lol.
What I really love is that Shayne and Amanda was one of the most random pairings you could have done of all the Smosh crew, yet they are slowly becoming one of the most iconic Smosh duos

They aren't really putting all that much effort into playing the game and it ends up being painful to watch rather than entertaining.

i had the same thought!! the cobwebs all over the fnaf 1 office and everything! the amount of work they must’ve put into such a short clip is so impressive
even the red flashing lights reflecting on their faces as if they were legitimately in the office were SO GOOD! thoroughly impressed!
Plus when Phantom Mangle(?) appeared in the background at one point it was given little text dialogue despite it not being the main focus! Sometimes I just listen to Smosh vids but I’m always rewarded when I watch them and pay full attention because the editing is so high effort

I’ll just say: I’m 19(f) and have worked as a security guard and done night shifts. When you are alone it can be eerie but like it’s not scary exactly. I was just chilling checking the cams for 8-12 hours depending on the night. To be fair I was in an empty warehouse and printer place (dunno how to phrase it exactly) not a creepy place with animatronics.

For not knowing any rules and ignoring any tips/phone call instructions, she learned really fast and had pretty good survival instincts! I really hope they play the rest of the games

Like I said before in another comment, she picked up on this pretty well and genuinely had good instincts and outperformed Shayne I feel with just gut instincts while playing (which didn't ultimately matter with cheats but still). And even in the 2 game she picked up on it very fast and beat Night 3 on her first try.
She's genuinely got good instincts and can actually adapt very quickly to the style of gameplay these games have.

So you unfortunately can't do anything to save yourself when he shows up in the doorway. You just have to try to keep him from getting there with the audio and sealing vents. If he shows up in the window, you can still save yourself by playing audio in the next room over. Obviously, this is all useless to you now, but there you go.
This video was so fun to watch. I love all the longer videos coming out.

I dont know.. fnaf 4 isnt that scary imo. The design is just too exaggerated to take them seriously but i still love the game due to the lore behind it
@@argo8276for me the scary thing about fnaf 4 is not the design of the animatronics but the fact that it’s wholly audio based, forcing you to be quiet and more immersed in the game
my biggest mistake of 2024 so far was starting this video at noon, thinking "oh this isn't scary lol" and then finishing the second half of the video at 10:45 PM
