Sydney Maree... great runner but never quite had the finish to compete in the major championships.

I remember watching him run in person along with John Walker in a mile race. Sydney seemed to struggle at times with injuries. I was to young to remember who was his coach but I think at some point he ran for Sub4 the same sponsor as Steve Scott.
