Wow I literally was on their site today for Black Friday and saw they had this new bag and boom...a google search lead me to your review. Awesome review and you gave a lot of detail. I have a few Stuart & Lau items and I love their products. I have the current version of the Capstone and I'm looking forward to your review of the generation 3.

Thanks for this review. Couldn’t decide among the 3 new backpacks from Stuart and Lau but you highlighted that this is the most versatile.?

Would you be able to fit two thin 16" laptops in the laptop compartment? Or one in the laptop compartment and another in a sleeve in the tote compartment? I have to carry two (.75") laptops with me and want to get away from my big photographer-esque backpack. Would the bag be able to handle roughly 8 pounds of laptops without any degradation of the straps or handles? I love my Stuart and Lau briefcase but it can only fit one.

Hey Desmond, great video my man. I am pretty on the fence with the Single Cary briefcase and this Clarke TotePack.
I've been using a backpack for work for a few years now, but was thinking to get something that is really suited for serious work meetings. Keen to understand your thoughts

Thanks for the review! Any chance we can get a side by side and load out comparison with the bellroy tokyo tote pack?

Will you be reviewing the Crosby backpack?

    Thanks for the review man!
Is there space between the bottom of the backpack and the bottom of the laptop sleeve for drop protection?

Unfortunately it does not. The bottom of the laptop sleeve runs all the way to the bottom of the bag. Only level of protection is the reinforce rubberized panel on the bottom of the bag. That's mostly going to protect the laptop from moisture and water vs drop protection.

Thanks! I’m just finishing up a review of the new Crosby. But will see if I can get hands on with the Gen 3 Capstone for some testing.
