This is one of the best things I have seen, it takes the value of a Match Replay to a whole new level! Amazing work!

These are great! Also good to see analysis of season 3/ lesser used characters.

This is such a valuable series and this is helpful to so many players to get into the mind of high-level players. My only complaint; mouse cursor on the right :P

Shazzy gets a lot of practice playing my and Saltface Sakura's so I'm not surprised Falquito is having trouble in this video. The best way I've found to approach this matchup is to get cody to make all the mistakes. Throw lp fireballs from a safe range which can recover fast enough to AA after he jumps. Can also get him to throw out unsafe round house and regular zonks for easy whiff punishes. Lastly always V-reversal EX Zonk. Get him to waste him meter.

Thanks for your hard work! Can u do a Bison video? Against Nash or Karin would be awesome!

Almost all fireballs in SFV plays differently from games like ST and SFIV. This is were the disconnect happens from players especially the ones who prefer SFIV (09'ers?)
SFV was designed to be more like the Alpha(3) games, which apparently is still not obvious for some reason even with the returning Alpha characters.
In that game, FBs does little to know damage but is used strategically - this was to shift from the FB heavy gameplay to make non fireball characters shine (Karin, Gen, Adon, etc.)
In SFIII the parry system was in place for the same purpose but it's not without flaws due to how the balance was perceived.

Could go as far as to say no system is without it's flaws and perhaps people complaining about SFV should give it a rest. Which ever game one likes is still there!

1:01 What’s the minimum frame disadvantage possible that guarantees Sakura’s backdash wouldn’t be hit on ground by Cody’s lp? I mean, is it possible theoretically for Sakura to avoid eating the whole target combo if she back dashes at the earliest frame after blocking Cr. MP?

Nope, Sakura backdash becomes airborne from frame 3 . That's why at +2 situation, Cody st.LP 4f startup hit at the 2nd frame of the backdash which is still grounded.

Does anyone know Shazzy’s identity, like does he attend tourneys and whatnot? He’s been the top ranked American online for awhile and I’ve been following him since he played Guile (before switching to Cody). Always wondered if he is someone known in the FGC or just a REALLY good online warrior
