Two time savers I wish someone had told me when I was playing this growing up: 1) It's not worth collecting enemies in caves. At all. You're most likely going to cross the 10k poko line in a cave and continue collecting even more treasure down there before returning to the surface (which is what will set off the "you repaid the debt" sequence), so the odds that collecting enemies makes a difference on a given day is basically nil. 2) When you interact with a hole or geyser in a cave, every pikmin in the cave at the time will come with you. No need to round everyone up before delving deeper/returning to the surface, you can just dash over to the hole with a solo captain. Running away to the next floor in a hurry is something you *will* want to do at some point while you're playing.

more pikmin 2, yay! you did everything you were supposed to do, how fantastic! the purple pikmin are my favorite type, and also they're extremely busted. purples deal 20 damage, the most out of any pikmin. they can also stun enemies when thrown. just beware, there's no purple onion. you can only get them from converting pikmin (which you should use reds for, they're pretty useless). and you'll need a 100 of them for the final area, so be careful with them. in this game, you can swap pikmin! if you hold A, you can use left and right on the dpad to swap pikmin types. if you hold A and press up or down, you'll switch between flower, bud, or leaf pikmin. this game has alot of cutscenes, but you can speed them up with START and B. START skips almost all cutscenes, but B skips only some. also if the ship is talking (which it does, alot) you can press B to skip the typing(ish?) animation, so it automatically reveals the full text. hopefully your next episode goes well, good luck as alyways!
The purple Pikmin are so awesome but yeah they're incredibly slow. At least with their increased number I can just assign one to a unit and be patient. I am wondering If should try to complete the area before moving on or should just move super fast through all the areas getting all of the easy stuff

They sadly are limited in this game, in the sense that they don’t have an onion, and can only be made via converting pikmin. You can also change what pikmin you throw with holding A + d-pad, no more dismissing to get a certain type. Also whenever you go into a cave, whatever pikmin are not in your squad, will be sent back to the onion. Similar for caves, whatever pikmin are in the cave with you, will also exit with you, even if they aren’t in your squad when you exit/change levels. As for episode length, you might have varied episode lengths since the caves get longer as you get further into the game. Can’t wait to see the next episode.
Yeah I see the shockwave in the new one! Actually insane he seems super OP. I notice a lot of new things in tomorrows ep.
