I'm not really a Harry Potter fan, but this was one of the best escape rooms I've played on the simulator. I really love how there were so many hidden elements like the chair switch, or the buttons. I kept hitting tiny roadblocks and then realizing that there was a small detail I missed somewhere. The secret room was also one of the coolest things I've seen someone do on this. Using the game mechanic of "finishing" the room to obscure the hint was so awesome and unique. I had to do some wiki delving, but I managed to figure out that last puzzle and get the easter egg!
I used the tanking system. nothing happened to the chest. Also, what about the hidden room. The on you open with the envelope?
How do you recognize the ingredients of the potion? I mean the icons are there on the bottles, but is there some kind of guide?
hermione and cho made the right potions so their ingrediants were correct! but the others had different ones , and some of them had 1 of 3 correct or 2/3 correct :) it was a pretty cool room , i'm still stuck on how to open the second drawer under the color puzzle, I believe the secret room key is in there
The icons are hard to see but yeah, the icons and the color. The purple matched teacher, so they were correct. Everyone else, you had to look close to compare the 'correct' potion icons with the rest. You'll notice the blue ones are missing one ingredient, the green ones are missing 2, and the glowing green are missing all 3.
