The blue lid with the strainer, is the drink lid. It has a strainer for when you make loose tea with it. You remove lid when adding the Matcha. Then when mixing the match reattach the lid. Release pressure before you remove handle of lid to drink. 💕

I have that machine, 2 of them actually. I do love mine. It's my understanding anyway though that you're supposed to use 5-7 of the " perfect matcha spoons" of maycha to it David's mskes 2 sizes of "perfect " spoons. The regular perfect spoon, and the perfect matcha spoon. The second is smaller. Really enjoyed the video thugh🙂
Nice! That are very useful. I thought I mentioned the different spoon sizes. Sorry if I didn't at one point. I was trying to also equate their amounts to regular teaspoon measurements for people that didn't own any of the DAVIDsTEA perfect spoons. I have a couple of each size of their spoons and use them exclusively with their tea. Glad you enjoyed the video! I'll be doing a take apart cleaning video of it as well.

2 years later I am learning about David's Tea and found your video :). Been thinking about trying the matcha ones just not sure if I will like them
