this is probably my favorite song of all time. i appreciate anyone who does a decent cover, and by decent i mean try to make it their own rather than simply imitate it. i actually loved it as it provided a very refreshing experience and just went on to show that luna sea is such a respected and popular band that an artist would revamp it 10 years later to let everyone know that. though i do agree it's slightly upbeat compared to the lyrics in and of itself.

both versions are so different, how can you even say that one is better than the other? it's a COVER, it will never be anything like the original because it should not be so. it's a matter of taste. i am a die hard fan of LUNA SEA and i love the original Gravity, but i think this is an adorable version too. just shut up and listen if you like, or go away if you don't. jeez.

While it may be a little upbeat, I certainly don't think it doesn't fit the lyrics at all, I mean, I can certainly imagine this as the credits/ending theme of movie where someone walks away from someone's grave or something. I guess it just depends on imagination. I'm sure there are many old people who think the original is very hard for a depressing song

カバーと垂れ流した唄とは違い 彼女の中で感じたgravityを素直に肉体を通して 歌い上げたものだと感じた だからgravityを愛する私にも嫌悪感を抱かせる間もなく 彼女のgravityに対する想いの波に飲み込まれました これはgravityと言う楽曲に対して同じ切なさを共有できた感動なのだと、疑う間もなく涙が答えを教えてくれました
