A niche show like no other. Players past and present, and others who figure in the women's game air their views . Kick back is spot on and describes the pod perfectly.
Liked the way Ruesha reframed being a 'supersub' or coming on for the last 30mins. Commentators always present this as demotion, but ruesha puts it in proper context.
Loving this. But puleese can Ruesha talk a bit slower, like in first ep. I have hearing impairment.... Aparently so do the subs. She says some funny stuff, but more importantly (to me) provides some excellent insight and analysis, its a shame to miss a lot of it coz shes talking a bit fast.
Couldn't agree more. I like her insights and analysis but I miss some of her commentary because of her accent and the rate at which she speaks. I also had to listen carefully to Emma Mukandi.
Hello Shebahn and Ruesha. In the game I played, I turned up at my club a bit hung over still from a works do. I found I had to drive half the team to the away game. On arrival, I went to a local butcher and got a stand pie to bring me round. I then went on and beat a county player, playing as well as when I won a city trophy. I get what you were saying about the day after.
Bit of a contradiction, saying Chelsea have a big squad that can handle injuries as they have the depth yet they asked for (and got) the WSL game postponed due to player safety. They have a big enough squad to do squad rotation.
That doesn’t mean they should just change the whole starting 11 that be like punishment for having a big squad! It’s two massive games with United a quality opposition and it of been an early KO. It should be up to the manager if she wants to change the squad not because she’s forced to because a packed fixture schedule early on in the season, the strength and depth of the squad will come into play especially as competition progresses in the season
As an arsenal, it's really annoying that they (rightly) cancel the Chelsea fixture, but arsenal have to play Bayern, then Chelsea in same week. Plus the newco (whatever they are called) knew the wcl dates for a year, why did they leave it until the last minute? And why did they -shoddily- mess up some of the Sunday streams by cutting them off early. They need to be more professional.
Great show ladies. The chemistry and banter between you both is liquid gold . Bompastor may have the blueprint for the champions league but you pair have it for pods and hosting🙌
i listen to this with my kids (10 year old daughter who is new to playing) . But a few convos are close to mark for kids... is there a way of putting something in the episode spiel in advance!!!!
Please don’t use the term player safety. You are just weaponising your words. Player welfare is the issue. Player safety is a risk whether you are rested or energised. The game rules take care of that.
2 hours in and over your 1000 mark! There is a demand for this in women’s football, may not be for you but just jog on past, we can manage without knowing your thoughts. Thank you

what an episode! the personality, nuance, passion and humour elevates these conversations tenfold 🔥

You should get Emma Mukandi back on, she was good and you guys have good chemistry together

It was really nice to see you at VP on Sunday.
Great episode!! Nice job💫
As much as I think this show is great… I think there is way too much talk of Chelsea, arsenal and city!

One days rest between games is a disgrace, don't care how big your squad is, it was rightfully postponed.
@@ruetuberuesha you’re right, doesn’t mean she should have to but she did/does have the capacity of squad rotation
