Leetcode nowadays just frustrates me. Between annoying test cases that force you to cast ints to longs and editorials that explain time complexity as "just get a math degree, bro" your simple and concise explanations feel like a breath of fresh air.
I think it would be help a lot if you added a tiny bit about Binary Search Trees and their properties so you could explain why we're doing some of the things we are with the left and right sides
Thanks, amazingly clear. Reminds me of where I need to get to in my study. Right now it’s all slightly murky lol Random note: wrote out this exact solution in Swift and it beats 100% of other solutions without ANY caching at all. It's not even particularly terrible in Swift.
I'm not a Python programmer, so I got a little lost when you indexed the dp hashmap with the (left, right) key, both to assign and return 'res'. Could you please explain that a bit? Thank you!
If you haven't already, try questions like LT 701. Insert into a Binary Search Tree. I think this will help you understand how leetcode builds the trees in the background.

Thanks for the feedback. I feel like I always went at this pace, do you know of videos where I go slower? I wanna compare
@@NeetCodeIO Unique binary search trees I , was at crt pace
@@NeetCodeIO yeah this video feels slightly rushed and i feel your recent videos have a hint of striver's style which i find annoying
@@NeetCodeIO Your first uploads 3 years ago, ruclips.net/video/P6RZZMu_maU/видео.html
I didn't get it how TreeNode you are using and how it works.
