It's always going to be JK's time, so don't worry DT. This is just a little pause for him. For me, Usher and Jung Kook together was a look into the past and the future at the same time. And this collaboration is like watching a street dance and a ballet combined. Pretty phenomenal and I'm so thankful to Jung Kook for this gift.
Perfectly said. As I watched JK's solo activities, I sensed this was also about laying groundwork for the future. BTS will be together for as long as BTS is together. Yet, along the way there will be solo projects. This is his time, a time that will continue. Presently we are in what seems like a pause, but I see it as a continuation of what's to come.

Two fabulously talented men from different generations just killed it! This was a great collaboration. Usher was smooth and soulful, his vocals were phenomenal and his presence commanding! JK moved as though he was dancing for his life! He was powerful, seductive and confident! Just beautiful. Loved Usher’s lyrics. Now that’s what I call passionate adult communication! This was salve for my soul given that we just said goodbye to JK! I hope this is just the beginning of the kind of talent we can look forward to. ❤🎉🤗

I love the fact that the dance wasn't matching perfectly. It showcased their unique styles, and our golden Jungkook with his golden heart completely allowed Usher to shine. Legends doing legendary things 🫡

it was a VERY smart choice on Usher’s part cuz let’s be real - it’s hard to keep up with JK in terms of power, but what you can do instead is bring in the vibe and the style, which Usher did wonderfully and which suits him much more as a 45yo man.

@@MeryKeit I actually don't agree with your assessment bc the 2 moves I saw Usher change one was a much harder move then the original choreography and the other move is he didn't lift his leg up like JK 🤔 The alter moves did not make the choreography particularly easier or harder then the original it was a mixture of both. I don't think JK choreography was particularly hard for Usher to perform either he just put his own pizzazz to it.

Firstly...wow DT that is a cardigan and a half... not many could carry that off... but boy you look swwweeeeeeeeetttt.... Secondly I loved that JK didn't try to out perform Usher or vice versa, they both complimented each other perfectly... JK with dynamic powerful choreography and Usher with smooth moves that he is notorious for... no battle just a delivery of two artists who know how to entertain their audience.

Wow! That was an amazing collaboration. Ushers’ still got it but the performance was both JK and Usher together!! Soo smooth! I loved it. Usher is almost 20 years my junior but I loved his stuff. Great job my men, Usher and JK nailed it!

One of the things that I appreciate and respect about you is that Jimin is CLEARLY your bias, yet you can appreciate all that JK has done and his talent.(as well as the other five) So many with biases seem to be resenting JK which is so disheartening to me, because the boys aren’t resenting him. They ALL have been very successful? ALL have received their own awards and made records of their own. I think the constant comparisons instead of just accepting, loving and appreciating each member for what they have done is very detrimental to the fandom, but also to people’s personal mental health. I hope more people can see you and realize that we can enjoy each member without constantly worrying about who got what, etc. Just enjoy them. We have SEVEN UNIQUE, extremely talented young men who have left us with a wealth of music and dancing to enjoy. Let’s all determine to enjoy all of them wholeheartedly IN THEIR HONOR. No more back handed, passive aggressive comments such as “well, my bias did it without collabs”, “my bias made meaningful songs”, “my bias wrote his songs”, etc. It’s all so unnecessary. Let’s be more like the BTS members! Let’s DO BETTER!

I keep reminding myself that MJ's Thriller and Bad weren't his first solo albums, but they were his biggest. JK will do even better with his next solo album, I'm sure of it. He was definitely on the up with this album, but he's only getting started.

If you're a dancer it doesn't matter how old you are if that's your passion. You're going to be able to dance until you're physically unable to. AGE IS JUST A NUMBER. I was never an entertainer or professional dancer but I love to dance and I'm going to be 61 at the end of this month and I think I can move just as good as the young-ins. 😂

This collaboration was definitely better than expected. I also love the respect and friendliness they showed towards each other. There was also a generosity of space between the two. Although you used different words, I think you expressed the same sentiment. 3D and Seven are fantastic and deserve their success, but this JK/Usher collab is on another level. It's significant. It's sad there are people saying JK is only successful because of his collabs and he supposedly wouldn't have made it this big without them.
