I remember seeing the film in Cinerama when it came out.... pretty impressive. Especially remember the 'log' water sequence especially shot for the Cinerama screen. Pretty good music score too. Shame there's no blu ray or decent DVD versions available. Oh yeah - I also like the quirky general Custer song (!)featured in the film. Ta for posting this suite. Must watch it again ...
Yep - Good film. Cinema widescreen, impressive stuff. Takes me back to being small! (1967) Thanks for posting this music. Recently bought a UK double crown advance poster for this! rare.
I just found the movie here on youtube a few days ago. I haven´t seen it since the beginning of the 1980s when it was shown in Sweden. Fabulous soundtrack!
¡¡¡¡Fantastic video Valdez!!!!....You did a special video! My deepest congratulations! I love westerns! and this suite did not know ... is excellent!.... ¡¡¡¡ You are great !!!!!!...Millions of Thanks!!! Happy night... One big hug!!!!
Custer and the Earps must be about the most controversial and fascinating characters there were in the Old West. They've certainly inspired enough books and movies!
Absolute;ly great show mate...thanks for this one. Got the score but never had the urge to listen to it. Sounds like a good flick too with Robert Shaw being in it. Cheers
Love the music and the film. Parts of the Dances with Wolves soundtrack remind me of the march. I'm sure I read in the credits that Robert Shaw penned that quirky Custer music hall song. The voice of the fella singing it is just bizarre though, a bit like early Bob Dylan when he had sinusitis.
A great western even if the historical facts are somewhat hazy. Probably the music is the best part of the film but some of the action sequences are gripping, especially the 'log' scene.
Absolutely rubbish film! Custer was a murderer of women and children and an agent of genocide on behalf of the duplicitous US Government. The so-called 'Last Stand' on Last Stand Hill never took place. What was left of Custer's command by that stage were simply wiped out in a matter of minutes by Indian rifle fire. It's very likely there were multiple suicides among the 'glorious' Seventh, including Custer himself. A fitting end for a coward. The film is a disgrace in its attempts to glorify this disgrace of a man.
My old man took me to see this film in the 60s, always stayed with me, great film.

Brilliant soundtrack - love it !
Great piece of music with much feeling. Fits perfectly to the movie. Robert Shaw is great as always.
Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed watching Robert Shaw and Mary Ure and they are missed. Great music in the spirit of the Cavalry !!
Nice one Valdez. I remember going to see this a the cinema as a boy of ten. As inaccurate as it was i just loved it. Great soundtrack.
Same here, made Custer the hero.

Excelentísima peli...👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Great soundtrack
Love you General ❤❤🌹
He was an Indian butcher but I commend his bravery at little big horn hats off to ya General Custer
Awesome
Great score for an American classic western shot in Spain!
The spirit of this concert is very large.
I love this score. It is quite memorable. Custer what did at the end pretty much the same as he did during the Civil War...attack, attack, attack.
Custer got Siouxed !!!!
Love it those are two of the finest comments ever written about Custer 'Siouxed" and "axed"
Did Custer charge into cannons
Sorry, mea culpa.

Doyle Lonnegan, Mr. Blue, Major David Kabakov and Quint.
the best CUSTER movie, and the saddest ending
Wonderful score but I wonder why the "Gary Owen" song isn't used in this movie.
Ach du lieber....How could favoritner forget Herr Oberst Hessler. Gott in Himmel...to zee Russian front mit him...schnell..schnell.
This movie is also master piece by robert shaw
Rubbish film. Not a shred of truth.
