The reason why I was able to be a fan of gfriend for so long is because I continuously loved their entire album every comeback, it's genuinely impressive because especially for mainstream Kpop groups they can overlook the B sides but instead B sides are one of gfriend's strongest points. Almost every Buddy I've seen love their B sides
Gfriend is Queen of B-Side. Just listen to The Awakening still unbeatable thats just majestic. Time for the moon night album, Mio is wonderful composer, looks at she done in Gfriend song discography and flower garden made me realize that (No hurt feeling Iggy youngbae, you're awesome too). Sunny summer album is just how. How they made song like Sweetie.

We started with the wrong foot. One thing you MUST Know about GFRIEND is that their b-sides aren't just different than their title songs, but also are as great as the title you won't know what to expect to bsides because their are totally different for their title song and take different ways. If you talk about GFRIEND you have never, never, NEVER skip their b-sides. So I suggest you to listen to their previous b-sides, buddy xp

Umji was teasing Love Oh Love and You Are Not Alone way back in 2017 when they were about to release their Parallel album. She thought that their agency would even include these two along with Love Whisper and the others. Lmaooo just imagine how many unreleased bops that they have at this point.

The thing with Gfriend B-sides are... it's a hidden gem. Like literally, i love all their B-sides even the ballads. I am not a huge ballad fan but their vocals shine the most in their ballads that's why i enjoy listening to them from time to time. I think a lot of Buddies may agree with me but a lot of us like their B-sides more than the title track after listening to their albums ^^;; I agree with what PD said, there's a certain element that makes the song the title track and i can't describe it too. You are not alone is definitely my favorite in this album but i wouldn't make it as a title track because Sunrise just has THAT title track feel.

I don't know what to suggest you because all their albums are this good and have something to surprise you, my favorite albums are The Awakening (Contrail!!) and Time For The Moon Night album (Flower Garden!) but how can I not mention Rainbow album and LOL album (when the first song from the Wind trilogy is there, Gone With The Wind, the second is Hear The Wind Sing from The Awakening and Windy Windy from Sunny Summer, oh man you are in for only good music I'm telling you) and how can I not suggest the summerish alternative Sunny Summer mini album? the song Sweety? trippy fun! their ballads are also so good!
they go back to the past and bring music genres I didn't know existed or better I didn't know those music styles had names lol (kawaii futurebass!??), they mixed together with their own style and is amazing. listen to their albums, if you thought they deserved more then after listening to their rich discography you will scream about how they really deserve more and if you watch their concerts (there is DVDs) you will see how good performers they are too! an amazing group that keeps improving! their concerts use a live band and the instrumentals with a band version are crazy, hopefully one day they can have concert with an orchestra too.
i also suggest you listening to their japanese original songs, after Memoria they have La Pam Pam, Flower and Beautiful, cut the audio from the upload but please react to them too.
if more people would not put GFriend aside and ignore them based on stereotypes and if they listen to the Buddy fandom for once, they would know why we love GFriend so much, they have something special :)
sunny summer and the awakening are my favorite albums from them as a whole. but in every album they have gems with title track potential (looking at you rainbow). i'm glad someone is recognizing it, i see how people don't see that gfriend influenced a lot of trends in their generation and how they always do their thing instead of going for the trends, a smart move to be remembered.
edit: btw i recommend you their japanese discography!!! it's impeccable so far, i hope they can get an anime ost eventually

GFriend’s B-sides are honestly one of their strongest points as a group (along with their choreo and vocals) and even though I'm not a full on Buddy, I always listen to all of the songs in their albums lmao

Their personalities and variety skill are so good too, they are beagles, dorks, weird and so funny on camera. Their teamwork/bond is so strong and beautiful. They all gorgeous pretty, they all visuals. Hope people stop sleeping on them..
They recorded "Love Oh Love" in 2015. It was either "Love Oh Love" or "Me Gustas Tu" as the title track for their 2nd EP "Flower Bud"
You've been missing out!! Gfriend has some of the most diverse b-sides when you compare them to their title tracks. They've actually experimented quite a bit in the last 4 years.

All Gfriend Bside is reallly really great, I agree with the songs being nostalgic, and it almost feel like a long lost feeling in your heart, it's like you've heard it before but once you heard it feels like floating in my brain. I can't explain it properly 😂
you said 'Love Oh Love' reminded you of Glass Bead, the funny thing is that this song was recorded back in 2015 at their debut, together with glass bead, but they only released in this album, > still with the 2015 vocals
And love oh love also should be the title track for their next comeback after glass bead instead of MGT.

Ok. I'm thrilled that you finally put your ears on Gfriend's B-sides, and imo this is what I can brag about this group. Their B-sides are so good, there's not a waste of time listening to their songs. I recommend Time For The Moon Night as it's my personal favorite and would love to hear your thoughts about it. This is a bit scary because Sunrise really set the bar high already for you and you might get high hopes to their past albums. haha
