ABOUT QUANTUM LEAP:
It's been nearly 30 years since Dr. Sam Beckett stepped into the Quantum Leap accelerator and vanished. Now, a new team, led by physicist Ben Song (Raymond Lee), has been assembled to restart the project.
Everything changes, however, when Ben makes an unauthorized leap into the past, leaving the team behind to solve the mystery of why he did it. At Ben's side throughout his leaps is Addison (Caitlin Bassett), a decorated Army veteran who appears in the form of a hologram only Ben can see and hear.
Herbert ""Magic"" Williams (Ernie Hudson) helms the highly confidential operation whose team at headquarters includes Ian Wright (Mason Alexander Park) and Jenn Chou (Nanrisa Lee).
Steven Lilien and Bryan Wynbrandt write and executive produce. Don Bellisario, Deborah Pratt and Martin Gero executive produce. i mostly had this show on in the backwards but always loved ian. this scene has my full attention and i teared up💙💗🤍💗💙

I hate having to say it. But the first half of this episode was bad. VERY bad. It felt like an ASPCA abused animal commercial, not an episode of Quantum Leap.
I get the sentiment. But that was so terribly written in, it hurt the episode's intent. Once it went back to being a Quantum Leap episode, it would've said the same thing the sloppy PSA writing did, but not feel like unpaid high school interns wrote it.
I worry the show won't continue to a proper conclusion if they let poor writing like that continue. :(
I really want to see more of this story. There's so much that can be explored.
they have to push an agenda. the clothes this guy wears, i never care about clothes but his are hideous.
