- In today's video, I will doing an Art Supply Swap with a different RUclips Artist. We each spent around $100 on supplies from Amazon and had them shipped to the other person as part of a fun art challenge. How will this turn out? Will this turn into a complete disaster or will they nail it and buy supplies that are a lot of fun to use. With the supplies, I will then use them to complete a new art piece. They will do the same on their channel.

You did such a great job Loz! It was such a unique idea that you pulled of well. Thank you for trusting me to buy your supplies. I hope you get much more use. I will say, I'm bummed there was no white in the pack of paints. I definitely didn't read the fine print on that one.
The lack of white is so weird honestly. It is kind of a starter kit, as people who buy the mixed colours are normally people dabbling in something for the first time. But I don't honestly mind, it meant I had to think creatively and think of other ways to do things. I am actually happier with the result, because I had that challenge. I love the paints and can't wait to use them again. Thank you so much. You bought such wonderful high quality paints and the paint goes a long way. I used so much of the lilac and the bottle is still so full.

Both Aussie Crafter and I went into this wanting to get the other one some nicer products, so Crayola was definitely not on the cards. It wasn't a rule or anything, we both just have products we love and we wouldn't want to buy another artist something we didn't.

I really had no clue what it was. Well it was sent from a company that said shoe on the address label, but I still didn't know what it was and forgot about that when I opened it.

I love this collab! How fun and different those supplies were! The shop awning for the front flap - that was a stroke of brilliance, girl. I hope to see you customize some shoes down the line (and try some of those cute chibis!)
Thanks Ashleigh. Di did so well at picking things. I'm actually in the prep stages of a video doing some Chibi, since people are wondering and I'm hoping in the future to paint some roller skates. I've wanted to do that for a while. I bought the skates post pandemic and it turns out that I'm not a natural skating genius and can't skate for the life of me, so at least they can finally get some love that doesn't involve ice on my butt 🤣

Good question! I was thinking it was because people always end up buying a larger white anyway, as they always need more. It is a strange exclusion, since it is generally the most important paint colour there is. How many people want a non pigmented neutral? It has its purpose, but it is definitely more of a specialty colour.

Thanks. Yes, I will have to do something fun and cute with it. I did try and think of a way to incorporate one of the characters, but I didn't think it would work. Aussie Crafter told me she got that book as I said I like drawing cute things and I didn't need to use it for this. It's a lovely book to have and I will definitely use it soon in a video 😃

Thanks. I had to get creative with the design as the shape of the bag threw me. I felt bad as I didn't yet use the chibi book, but, I kind of wanted to use all those beautiful colours. She definitely did an amazing job at picking supplies. I totally expected she would get me clay, as she's so good with it. Leather paints was never on my guess list.
Aw, fun! The bag came out great =) I suppose you could add a cute little critter eating candy on the back, if you wanted =)

This idea was an excellent one. I'm glad you did yours with Di. That way, I found out about you and can see what kinds of painting you do. Your candy shop is very cute. Who doesn't like candy?

Your idea and execution were exceptionally clever. They were perfect for this type of bag. If the bag's quality was just a bit better, I would love to carry it. This idea would be perfect to use on a thrift stop flip. Excellent use of the colors as well.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

this is a good idea, i have all kinds of supplies i could send to someone (if shipping wasnt a big problem :/)
@@fuzzydragons thanks. Shipping is always the problem for swaps. It works best to at least find someone in the same country. We did Amazon as it was easier, but being both in Australia, we could have easily just sent supplies to the other.
yeah if i could fined someone in scotland or even the rest of the UK, it would prob be ok for shipping 😀
