I love to see what other Elvis fans have collected. I love the collection you have of the original Elvis records and sometimes I think back as an Elvis fan to the time when I bought those records.
Nice collection of original US releases. just some information ,Peace in the Valley EPA was largest selling religious EP, at over 500,000 copies. This Ijust found out When Loving You LP was released it entered #1 on Billboard LP chart!Elvis Chrisrtmas lp was his fourth # 1 lp on Billboard charts only The Monkees did that . .
Steve, first Elvis record I bought was let's have a party..Went to buy it an my push bike, managed to get it near enough home when someone stepped off the pavement. Oh well I'll get my paper round money next week so will try again.Great memories ,thanks for Video
Great video Steve 🎙 Incredible collection of original US 🇺🇸 releases.... Amazing the shear volume of releases....almost every month ! RCA and Parker didn't miss an opportunity 🙄!! Good Stuff ... Cheers 🎙🎶🥂
Great video and great collection as always. I just picked up a really nice copy of the 57 Christmas album ( loc 1035 ) , it wasn't cheap but what a beauty. Glad to see you looking well. Luv the show.
I love the EP, “Just For You” BECAUSE of “Is It So Strange”, a rather obscure, but outstanding song that Elvis sings so wonderfully! Fortunately, it was included on the album, “A Date With Elvis” in 1959.
@@tcbsince73 thanks Steve. I live in the most isolated city in the world (Perth, Australia) in 2014 I dreamed of owning a couple of Elvis records. I thought they were all destroyed and in land fill. I was wrong when I discovered my first record store in 2015 and found about 20 used Elvis records priced between $4 - $15. The addiction grew from that moment. 🙂
Hi Steve! Truly enjoying your new series here! Great work my friend and hope you are doing well and recovering 😌☝️🙌🙏🙏. Sending positive energy and prays to you my good friend! Cheers ⚡️⚡️
@@tcbsince73 thank you truly Steve! I have been quite busy these past few months and in process of finding a nee place to move and live. Truly anything more then bigger challenges in doing so then work itself . I am glad to at least see you all doing great and wonderful videos. Have posted a few shorts in past few days for all. 😊☝️👍🏻👍🏻😁 Prays and blessings always to you my good friend! 🙌🙏😌 TCB ⚡️⚡️😎
I just want to add, because you plan to do another show on the 1958 releases, that I suggest mentioning the fact that there is an alternate take of “Lover Doll” on the first EP of “King Creole”, which omits the Jordanaires’ back up. The album version features the Jordanaires.
Remember people still didn’t have record players the played 45 and 33. You are not old enough to have lived it. I did. You should put your sleeves I’m mylar that doesn’t break down. Been doing it since well I can’t remember and every picture sleeve has archive cardboard to keep it squared and stiff like an EP.
First time in a month i tuned in to see what your buying Steve, first i notice your looking & sounding better, the other if you'll indulge me is on the shelf i don't know if there cds or dvd you have the comeback, then to it's left live '69 then what are the three to the left of that take care. Yea i'd like you to through the years for the U.K '56-77 oh and one more thing one album on cd i can't find is elvis (fool) is it from 1973 it's bloody hard finding that & bloody expensive on ebay, do you know if it's out of print on cd.
I really like this idea, look forward to 1958! TCB
All great albums my friend Steve hope you are well TCB.❤

thanks Rudy, it’s funny how just a record cover can holds strong memories.
Great 57 vinyls, Steve ⚡️⚡️
In reference to the Graceland ,@That’s All Right,” if I remember correctly, they pressed 1954 copies to denote the year of its recording.⚡️

Is it so strange has always been a favourite of mine since first hearing it on the Seperate Ways Camden.
Wow, fantastic vintage records from your Elvis catalogue. Its really difficult to find all of these when I have opted not to buy online. 🙂
certainly more expensive buying online, far too much to choose from. But you have done well with your record hunting

According to Discogs, the 10" single is limited to 1,954 copies!
bUT YOU CANNOT TELL IF THAT IS TRUE BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT NUMBERED

thanks for that
Hello, sir

thanks Nick. basically I am too lazy to do try it. but I do need to sort out the more valuable discs and protect them better.
