What happened to the home why can't they no longer live there
Because it belongs to the Mayor of Hoonah, and it was only leased for the show. That cabin was built by local contractors paid by Park Slope Productions. After the lease wasn't renewed, they had to make up an excuse for leaving. That's when Ami came up with her fake cancer.

its like... I know shows like thsi and moonshiners are partly scripted, but this show its just so obvious. like putting on all that face paint before a "hunt"? you would never ever do that in real life if its an activity you do regularly. idk why that bothered me so much but it did... so fake.
You know these shows would be so much better if it wasn't for all the bullshit lol. I only have a high power rifle couldn't possibly do shit against a bear. I feel like this show would be much more exciting for city ppl
