Lindsey Peters has spent nearly two decades battling a disease that affects 190 million women and girls worldwide, but few even know they have.
Not much is well known about endometriosis - what causes it, how to accurately diagnose it or even how to completely cure it. Lindsey’s journey to a better life took her through many years and many doctors before she could finally get help.
Watch as Lindsey bravely shares her story of pain, loss, grief and ultimately of ongoing courage and commitment to making a difference for others walking in her shoes. With the help of a new community of supporters, like those at the Endometriosis Foundation, she is standing up for education, awareness and treatment. Lindsey is our next hero - “The Fighter”!
