There is only one problem, the rank system doesn't work and with ranked 2.0, ranks don't mean anything anymore.

I have found some hilarious players in rank 2.0. Once found a Maverick Emerald player in Villa that never used his gadget a single time, always played alone and told us he could not trust us because he didn´t understand what we were doing... We were doing a standard master take for Aviator/Games. 😂
Yea but it does mean that those players have played enough to get that far we are in a world of competitive game and most players on most games can be competitive and super good in most games nowadays its mostly about team energy and team players I mean yea you can carry or get carried still but it becomes very hard against a team with a good flow even if they are all solo or 5 stacked. Maybe this is just a different view of it idk i like all the tips here tho was a great video also just have fun that's a big way to improve rank I feel like the moment you stop stressing and sweating and getting upset at it you'll just start going up higher yk have a chill mentality and dont give up a game is always winnable even at a 0-3
@GolemOfMagic Ranked 2.0 turns proper skill based rating into more of a playtime thing. There are hilariously bad players I've seen running a champion charm being in a gold game.
Dude I am a previous emerald and I was solo queuing in bronze and I went on a loss streak and am now gaining 30rp in gold 😢
My 1# tip for any rank is: skylights.
Any map with rapellable skylights even coppers think to themselves "that's so stupid why would anyone go skylight?" Vs silvers, plats, and even diamonds ill just rappel down lobby skylight on bank or main skylight on emerald plains. Depending on the skylight you might wanna cover ur sound first but trust me this strat is so stupid it works way too often.
As a wise man once said "if it's smart, someone's already thought of it. But if its stupid, no one's gonna be thinking about it."

The top yellow skylight in consulate can get you a ton of free kills
Tip No. 4 for every rank. If solo queing, Pray and Hope you get decent teammates or find a good stack before its too late.

the most annoying thing is when you already think in top rank but you're stuck in bronze/silver
istg im actually high gold/low plat but it takes a ridiculously long time to get out of bronze because every teammate i get just doesnt communicate at all and constantly chokes rounds

Eh I’m champ and if I was in anything below diamond I could go 15-3 every game and carry wins. If you’re stuck below emerald you definitely don’t think like the top ranks. There’s some cracked players up there
For diamond I also recommend adding phantom pressure onto site. For example, by opening the windows in lounge in kafe or by opening the CCTV window in club house. I also recommend roaming off site/contesting areas with teammates who are in fights similar to the azami clip on lair

Plat is a dumpster fire, trust me. I’ve hit plat 3 ( soloQ) and what BBG told about you carrying silvers and golds- it’s 100% true. Like, I cannot even take this shit anymore. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve been put with silvers/ low golds against diamonds and emeralds…ridiculous! After losing couple of matches in plat 3, I have decided to play standard until the next season. This is just bs! Visual rank means nothing, and a lot of people got carried to the rank they do not deserve. So sad. Ranked 1.0 was so much better. Ranked 2.0 has turned into the participation tournament.
most things come with time like map knowledge and learning sounds but some things u need to just know so watching videos can help like finding sense.

I kinda crouch when I shoot , I’m in low ranks so most the time those people are aiming crotch level, so when I die it’s mostly when I crouch and get headshotted.
Me: Highest rank was Plat 1
Opponents in ranked: Ex champions. Very unbalanced ranking system, cheaters on console with MnK, Kronos, smurfing, I hate all that shit
Regarding aiming - learn how to aim with your fingers, arms and wrists depending on the situation. Different kinds of flicks and recoils too helps.
I just love the fact, that I hit emerald the first time in Dread Factor, but I keep fighting against Champs/Diamonds every round. The even funnier thing is: I can keep up with them, but I never even touched Diamond 5 or something and my mates are usually silver/gold. Ranked 2.0 is just the biggest bullshit and ranks mean literally nothing anymore.
Rank 2.0 matchmaking is terrible
I just don't know what's so difficult about not matching silver/gold premates with literally diamonds or champs? It's simple as that: "If below diamond and in case of matching with diamonds or higher = Don't"
Only if one of the premates already hit diamond you should be able to face other diamonds, but not if the highest of the group is low emerald and the rest is around high silver low gold.

bruh i’m in emerald with a 1.0 KD idk why, i see players of high ranks hitting crazy shots and getting so many kills, but i usually anchor in site and play support, i also have friends who play support but they still frag what am i doing wrong 😭😭?

From your comment i feel like you are overthinking it now. Do the basics and you win more gunfights. Basics are stay close to your team for refrags. Dont overpeek stupid stuff, and just don't tilt or think negative

Question for the emerald rank ( thats my rank that I’m hard stuck) how to do you improve you gunskill? I find it very hard to do so bc I’m playing champs every game
Clip your games. See what you are missing. Is it quick peeks, is it movement, aim, what? Watch some high rank players and see how they play. Then try to practice it in training mode or in game

Tip for champ players: stop playing cus you'll just lose elo to cheaters
My biggest tips as a 1.6 champ:
Plug your controller into your console.
Get rid of your turtle beach headset.
Go into each round with a plan.
Stop playing warden and mozzie. Instead of mozzie play Valkyrie and instead of warden play solis or pulse. (Obviously warden is amazing if they are bringing ying)
Never play rook
Never die without using your utility. If you died with 3 flash bangs left you failed.
Pick secondary gadgets with a purpose. If you are bringing breach charges you should try to play vertical or else you are wasting your secondary utility.
Agreed billyblood1129 and most of all. Have an enormous ego and swing the no talent turds that infect ranked 2.0 lobbies

No, my duo plays on Xbox One and a TV on the floor and he just hit champ last week
Your setup can make you better but you can hit champ with TV
for cooper its weird cuz ppl just jump out of windows and im playing with plat players what do i do
Just expect the jump outs no? After you play a while you get used go all the spawnpeeks and runouts. You can wait a bit in spawn and hold for 30 seconds and then get close to map

Lower ranks do unexpected plays which makes no sense so you cant predict them

I soloQ through the ranks up to plat 3. It is terrible. Rank 2.0 is a dumpster fire. You basically gamble your chances of getting decent teammates who know how to use the mic. I was getting plats while being in mid silver. Now, when I’m plat, I’m getting high emeralds/ mid diamonds, while my teammates are discovering the benefits of reinforcements…you just have to rely on yourself, learn from your mistakes, play good soloQ operators and pray for decent teammates, cause when you get to plat, you will (probably) be carrying your silver/gold teammates.
Im in silver 4 and my tm8 is gold 2 and we go against plats and emerald while my tm8s are max gold
