Do you find that tenants near the university fluctuate based on season? I'm also thinking of buying a rental property near U of M, but I'm worried that it will be harder to find tenants May through August. Also, are you able to rent your driveway at all for extra cash? Either for students, or for bomber games etc?
The rent prices are just below market avg so I don’t find it difficult to get good tenants. The only hassle is that there is a lot of interest and I can’t really go and show the house everyone who asks to see it. (I’m in a different city) I don’t have a driveway
@@AsharAbiha Thanks! When you have renter turnover, do you travel to winnipeg personally to show the place? Or do you have someone in Winnipeg who shows it for you?
Ofcourse the conventional mortgage is riba. Some Muslims have taken up riba, consider it normal and don't try to actively avoid it. Not passing judgements on these guys, but just saying. This is why when I hear someone bought a house, I always want to know how they did it. I am not interested if it was through a conventional mortgage. The halal options are extremely limited in Canada at this point in time.
@@drtarunkabra146 just like there is legal/illegal ethical/unethical in everything, there is halal/haram in everything. Whether it is in the market or not is irrelevant.
Jabir reports: ‘Allah’s messenger (peace be upon him) cursed the one who devours usury, the one who pays it, the one who writes the contract between them and the two witnesses to the contract. He said that they are all the same.’ The Muslim community is unanimous that usury is forbidden in Islam.
Good work guys with the video.. hope for many more
Congrats! Keep it up!
Thank you🌻

If you wanted cash flow, you could have invested $189000 ok Indian stock market, that would have given in homngoes returns
Let's talk. Explain how?
Also, remember that we didn't buy the house by putting in 189k. Bank gave loan
How does the mortgage work (isn't it ribah?). Did you find halal banking?
