No need to use a computer to measure the speed on the ball...use your brain. Look at the wheel and which numbers that is close to the croupier. Look at how the croupier is throwing the ball....the person are mostly throwing at same speed, every time.

A laser can only see 2d motion if the ball, it cannot see any defect on the lower ball track or any spin in the ball.

The general information it is processing is the speed of the wheel and the speed of the ball.
It can't guarantee a win everytime, just tilt the odds in the favour of the player
@CasinoMatchmaker I am saying even with a laser and without proper knowledge and data such as barometer, scatter pattern, a laser device is useless, it can even generate negative ev much worse than house edge

Do all casino's allow wagers to be placed after the ball has been spun? It could definitely be used to project the likely target area the ball comes to rest in!
As far as I am aware they do.
I haven't seen a casino that doesn't allow bets whilst the ball is spinning.
Perhaps as technology gets a bit better, they will introduce this rule
@@CasinoMatchmaker I only play roulette using an online simulator where all wagers must be placed before the spin but I've heard most casinos don't allow cell phones near the roulette table, but I'm sure there's ways around that. There are probably people out there who have been chipped and can see a visual image of the correct projections using special contact lenses!

At that time, 0 is under the biased diamond, the drop number would be 14/2x 7=49. We would then 49-37=12. The drop number is 12 numbers to the right of 0 if the wheel is anticlockwise

Even that, there is also a thing called wheel bias which allow you to bet before the dealer spins the ball
Today in any casino that has live roulette they allow you to use cell phones. so it is not possible to use this method.

@@CasinoMatchmakerthey shouldn't allow cellphones or earphones at the table. However I find that enforcement varies greatly from establishment to establishment and from dealer to dealer. I've only started playing roulette since COVID tho and I think they had to bring on a lot of new dealers because I see all kinds of mistakes at roulette tables and often have to make sure I'm paid out properly.
