You can't please all the people all the time. You do you -and you do you so wonderfully. I so enjoy your crafts, your style. Thank you for sharing you and your talent with us. Craft on !!
I love this! I love the items from Temu as well!!! I’m happy I found your crafting corner on RUclips especially for the quick projects because my brain is not set up to process long long videos!
I love what you make. It’s really hard to find anything that isn’t made outside the US. Keep creating and sharing your inspiration and creativity. You inspire me!
Let’s also not forget that a lot of the components of “American made” products come from China and overseas. This is the main reason for the supply chain issues we experienced during the pandemic. You explained the issue perfectly. Beautiful project by the way :)
I applaud you for being quiet about a lot of things but then yo stand up for this type of thing It's so true SU & all those places with cards items get their stuff fromChina too 😢 if the USA buckled down n stopped trading with China!!! I too would follow it ! Thx again!! A new subscriber not even a week !!😂🎉🎉✂️✂️✂️
First off, Welcome to my channel and I promise I try not to get political or anything in my videos 😂 I just felt like I was being shamed a bit for working with temu so I had to clarify the real deal with all of our supplies 🙈
Good afternoon Michelle! I absolutely love this project! Anything vintage and grungy is so me, 😊. As for the Temu topic, thank you so much for your thoughts. The thing is, I’m in Canada, Everything is made in China, if we were to go through what we own, 9 times out of 10, it’s made in china. It’s the way it is. It’s been this way for mega years. And like you said, if something is shown that another person says ‘that’s my work’ then you can deal with it. We can investigate yes, but, such a waste of time, as hours could be spent just checking things out. I have not yet ordered from Temu but I’m drawn simply for the better prices. Yes we wonder about the labour and all the rest that goes along with that , it’s a touchy topic for many. (Even me) and that may be why I haven’t yet ordered, I don’t know. But in saying all that, I so appreciate you, I appreciate your art and I look forward to your videos. Keep doing You, no matter what, everyday. Thanks again so much for sharing, you rock! Hugs and blessings 🤗💜🦋
Thank you so much Brenda! 🥰 I appreciate you so much too! It really is a sensitive topic. The USA also has been mass producing EVERYTHING in China for years. I would literally have to throw out my entire craft room to prove this topic 😂
Beautiful beautiful project! I am loving it!!! ❤ THANK YOU so much for all the beautiful and easy ideas you bring us. I recently got into paper crafts and your channel was the first I saw and made so many things from. Keep doing you, Michelle! You are appreciated!!!
❤I love all of your ideas and it doesn't matter to me what products you use. I love my items from Temu as well!!! Sorry to hear that you closed down your shop. I noticed that your etsy shop had not had anything in it, but didnt realize you had closed it. 😢 I have ordered many things from you and Loved it all!!!❤
Loved this project, Michelle. Really simple, just like you said, and made even easier with the gorgeous TEMU tablet that was right-sized to start with. You have inspired me to make one. 💕 I was addicted to TEMU. Bought everything from a real leather handbag strap (seen on Etsy for $28!) to ease my shoulder pain to a rubbery faux succulent that looks adorbs in my Rae Dunn planter. I also bought craft supplies at fantastic prices. I noticed that craft supplies sold in Etsy shops, by that "monthly boxed delivery" supply place, Amazon, etc. have lots of the same items seen in TEMU's inventory. If it is the same item, I would rather pay less. 🤷♀ But I have seen differences, like in cardstock, where the images are cut off, skewed, or a different color shade. I have compared my Stamperia cardstock against one of TEMU's papers, and TEMU's paper appears to be a knockoff. I don't know the legalities of that. If you change the image significantly, is it OK to sell a copy as long as you change the name from Magic Forest to Aqua Forest? Thanks for sharing. 😍
love watching you create all of the wonderful projects thanks for sharing your opinion about TEMU I have already ordered from them several times !! tfs hugs
Love the flip journal and the vintage style papers. Temu, pandahall, beebeecraft, and so on are all china based products that we all order from. I love charms/beads like you love paper. I bought some really nice quality ones from an overseas company and saved $ by doing so,instead of paying double the price at Hobby Lobby or Michaels. Their products are from overseas as well. I have noticed Etsy is selling the exact products for double the $$.
Love this Pocket Journal Michelle! And I agree, the majority of what we purchase is made in China. I'm also convinced that the items sold on Etsy are made using products from China. Thanks for sharing this Michelle.🌼🌺
Wow Michelle, your project came out just beautiful. Very shabby chic. I love it, and I also love ordering from Temu. Thanks for the tutorial. Thank You for bringing us some of the best content on RUclips :)
I get sick of ppl attacking each other over Temu and Allixpress. Big name craft suppliers use manufacturers in China to make their die’s and stamps etc. I spoke with a big craft supplier who told me that their Chinese manufacturing company is supposed to destroy any excess stock but they can’t stop them selling the excess. Well why would I buy the item from USA or UK for $40+ when I can buy from Temu the exact same item for $2.98. Each to their own , if you have the money buy from the big name supplier, but I’m on a budget so Temu it is for me. Love your work Michelle , thank you for all you share.
Exactly! Thank you for your support Kathy! Feels un-American like when you profit over 300-400% for yourself after originally purchasing overseas. Makes no sense 🙄
Hi Michelle, I love your videos. Thank you for sharing your creativity and ideas with us. Did you know that Amazon sells (as an example) Stampin up stamps and dies without their logo and branding for a fraction of their prices and we all buy from them. So, it’s not just Temu. 😊
Well, I don't agree with those companies who copy illustrations or designs from other compagnies and designers. There are designers out there who have the copyright to their creations. (Some people bought dies imitating Stampin' Up!'s dies from an online store from China and they were not at all of the same quality.) I know it may sound utopian, but I try to boycot all big companies, especially Amazon. I live in Canada and every time I have the occasion, I will buy an item at a local store or from a canadian company in order to encourage and sustain them. 😉 That being said, I love Michelle's creations! 😊
I love all of your tutorials and I am thankful that you are willing to share with us. I too buy From Temu and I have no problem with it. I have made so many of your projects and love them all. Keep Sharing and keep buying!!
Hi Michelle, totally agree with what you said about China. Love this tutorial. Not rambling at all. Been so addicted to watching your tutorials that housework has taken a back seat and watching and making some of the things makes me feel so good. Don't feel like I can't make anything. I thank you again for making your awesome tutorials and hearing from you. God bless.
Great idea as usual. I think it’s great that the Temu papers fit exactly over the cover and the other papers. Each to his own. If people get upset so be it. We all think differently. I know myself on a budget. Why would I want to spend $5 when I can find it elsewhere for half the price? Different papers and even glue is starting to be tough to find in my area. Breaks my heart because I spent $30 on a die and Temu had it for $10. I practically fell off my chair.
I agree. We do think differently and reality is our own country is ripping us off😂 It’s sad. Too much selfishness is going on and this is what brought sales overseas as well as manufacturing. It gets so deep. The taxes, the politicians, etc. in the end the people are the ones who suffer 🥺
I agree with what you said about Temu. It is complicated and there are no easy answers. What I would say is, if you are open to evidence, that’s the important one (and you clearly are). The other thing is, if you were going to buy it anyway, why not save some money, right? The thing I am personally careful about is ads that entice me to buy stuff I wouldn’t use 🙈 Anyway, really love your videos! Don’t worry about the Temu thing too much.
150% agree with you in regards to Temu or any other direct company out of China. I don't work in a China nor do I work for Temu, so I can't say what they're practices are, so until then, I'll order. From what I have heard, prices are super cheap because it's a new company and they're getting they're name out there. Eventually, prices will go up. Temu and Ali works like Amazon, it's one company with loads of vendors. Also, "we're" buying direct, hence rock bottom prices. Also, I've been looking on Amazon first and more times than not, Temu has the exact same thing. There. I've said my peace and I could care less what others think. I also love your videos, so keep up the awesome work! I could also care less where you buy your supplies 😉
Hello Michelle, so so cute, your amazing creativity! 👏 beautifully put together ❤️ Thank you for sharing, you do such wonderful projects and easy to make. 💐
Michelle Love this project!! All my favorites, Shabby, floral & Pink !!! 💕Also your comments at the end were right on , so many products of all kinds are from China!! Very well said!! After your Temu Haul , I ordered from them for the first time .💕
Hi Michelle first thing your pocket folio you made very pretty especially using the papers etc, second thing everyone can buy from whoever each to their own you shouldn’t have to explain if you like Temu you buy there items if you want to purchase them from craft shop you do that. But these days you have to be realistic for myself I have not got the money to purchase items where craft for instance I can buy 1 item go to somewhere else and purchase 2 or more of the same item for the same price so for each to their own. For myself I live out of town so I order a lot online and you have to shop around for the best price/deals these days, any ways that’s all o have to say but great job love the folio beautiful papers & accessories.💕😊🥰
Thank you so much Gail! Todays world is rough. Budget is beyond a budget and everyone mass produces overseas. Makes no sense to me why I should have to pay someone in the states who does the same thing and marks it up triple 🙄
Hi love the album and I agree with what you said. Totally feel the same way. Most everything is made in China and US companies buy it and mark it up. That’s why the whole push for American made again. Thanks for sharing and the chat!
Hi Michelle, great mini, thanks for sharing. Mary Polanco posted a link of some in depth research on TEMU and it explains many misconceptions that people might have. I’ll try to find it and share.
Love the clips! Found some at Michael's. I watch your tutorials to relax with your designs and skills. There are other media platforms to be political or activist on rights. Personally I watch your videos to be in the bubble for a few minutes.
I'd love to be able to buy everything I want/need and have it manufactured in the US. Sadly, it's not feasible as the prices would be astronomical when compared to what is made overseas. I do buy American made items when I can but I will continue to shop places like Temu because of the price, selection, and availability. 😮
Thank you Sharon! It’s cardstock but a much thinner one almost like scrapbook paper. I believe I got it in Michaels. It’s 12x12 prob 50 pound or 25 weight
Preach🙏 I’m sure you’re pissing someone off but it’s the truth. Maybe they really just don’t know but in 2023, there is no way they don’t. Turning a blind eye is worse.
I agree with you! Everything is made in China, even the clothes and shoes we wear. The further, the dishes etc. Why make a big deal about paper crafts when everything is made in China. It's rare to find things made in America today. So good luck in trying to find crafts made here. For that matter go through your whole house and and find everything made in China and throw it out and you'll have almost nothing. It is what it is!!
I totally agree! It’s a dime a dozen to find anything in my house made in America. There is always something hidden, made in America, manufactured in China 🤡
Michelle, You are correct. Virtually all craft supplies, materials, etc., are made in China FOR the U.S. based companies with their label on the product. Say what you want about taking American ingenuity and exploiting it. One thing is certain, about 40% of American manufacturing was shut down here, and moved to China as labor costs were so much less. China now has an emerging middle class, something that country never had before. It was American companies that moved their manufacturing base out of the country. We, the people, didn't ask them to. We lost jobs. The companies made more money. The issue of faulting someone for buying directly from China is petty. Take it up with American company owners who dealt the American worker out of the equation altogether. And good luck with that.
This is SO spot on Roberta! Made in America is sadly a past time. It’s a needle in a haystack. I 💯 agree- American Companies moved out themselves and this is the end result.
It is known that almost everything comes from China. I've been buying there myself for years. The only problem is the designs. Like Stamperia. That is really imitated and copied almost one to one. That is well known. And that is really something different than printing roses on old invoices. Many of these images can be found on Internet for free. That's not the problem. And of course the tools come from China.
You can definitely see it if you search the Stamperia paperpads from Hydrangea, Winter Tales, Ballerina. I don't recall seeing one of these in your haul(s). It seems that this is also the case with a single brand of stamps. But I don't know about that. It's a good thing you want to make the effort 👍🏻💛
We crafters spent a lot of money with different companies. But when you can find it in temu or even when sales go up with other companies, will run with it. So, the same things that these USA are selling at a triple price and can’t afford, we know we’ll run where’s it cheaper and affordable. USA won’t pay for labor and let’s not talk about taxes, so who’s being contradictory here? Yeeeeh, temu.
To me, there's no difference from mine from Walmart buying from Temu almost every product we own is made overseas from China. And I'm going to shop where I can afford.
I buy red rubber stamps from a small family company in Minnesota so because I support small businesses when I can, I don’t feel as bad about buying from Temu. Have you walked though Hobby Lobby? It’s all from overseas. Why do people have to explain & justify their actions? If you don’t want to support overseas companies, then don’t but don’t pressure other people to do the same. 🤷♀️
also in Canada, sorry but I will order from AliExpress, Temu etc..these North American companies do charge us triple but sorry, thats a major consumer rip off and Im not about to be ripped off...they need to lower prices over here, not only art supplies but everything, they take consumers for granted so anytime I can get more for my money, I will...our gov'ts need to give in a little and put some control on what businesses can charge consumers, its so out of hand now
Temu, supports China. Up to the consumer bit a pretty sad thought. I understand you want everything super cheap but nobody, designers etc. won’t get paid. It all goes to China. You want to support China even over designers in USA, that’s your call.
I’m not understanding this comment. It’s “not” okay for me to work with the manufacturer direct but okay for the designers to hand over their work to child labor, or whatever it may be and then triple charge in USA? Handling *anything* overseas supports China.
Do you own anything that is made somewhere besides the US? The same things a lot of us buy from Temu you buy from corporations that have had them shipped to them from China. Only you pay higher prices.
@Pinkstrawberryz I completely agree with you. It's so silly to argue or shun people over this. Because those very people if they walked in there home and looked at every label from the bed they sleep on to the plates they eating are made in China probably even the walls in there house the plaster on the walls. So how you shun one thing but not everything. Because they would end up on the floor sleeping outside without food or water. People also don't understand things are different here. What is not normal for us is common for them. They don't know any different. They also don't agree wuth how we live. And thry dislike us as a country. At the end of the day you're right there are so many things coming in from different country's that there is truly no point in digging around our home to toss everything out. Its called Trade we make deals as country's. And we send our stuff over like weapons and aid they send over there good no questions are ask because we live differently then they do. And it's not up to the US to solve all there problems. We have many of our own. It would take so much effort just to find things made in the US. But if you do come across something then buy it. But most companies to save and make any profit which keeps our country going we need them just like they need us. So you can buy from our company's who buy from China and spend and arm and a leg. And or you can buy from Temu who is based from the US and has costumer insurance and that's why they can sale at cheap prices rather going to Amazon who is buying from the same company temu buys and just sale for a higher price. Truthfully temu has showed me how much the US companies are screwing us. I have seeing so many of my products that I got from Amazon for $20 or more and found the same ones on temu for $1.79 and I'm gassed because I can't believe so much of my money went down the drain.
Hi Linda! I have just been really into inking these days lol I’m sorry I do have a-lot of older videos without inking but I will go back and forth with it
You can't please all the people all the time. You do you -and you do you so wonderfully. I so enjoy your crafts, your style. Thank you for sharing you and your talent with us. Craft on !!
Thank so much Peggy I appreciate it 🥰
Thank you, Michelle! Not only for sharing such a wonderful project, but also for sharing your common sense thoughts about using Temu products! 💕
Thank you so much June! 🥰
I love this! I love the items from Temu as well!!! I’m happy I found your crafting corner on RUclips especially for the quick projects because my brain is not set up to process long long videos!

I just felt like I was being shamed a bit for working with temu so I had to clarify the real deal with all of our supplies 🙈
I would love for Made in America to be a thing of present and not past. So many companies are sneaky about it too.
Good afternoon Michelle! I absolutely love this project! Anything vintage and grungy is so me, 😊. As for the Temu topic, thank you so much for your thoughts. It really is a sensitive topic. The USA also has been mass producing EVERYTHING in China for years. I would literally have to throw out my entire craft room to prove this topic 😂
Cute little pocket journal and I like that you can use single sided paper. I always love how simple but cute your projects are.❤
Thanks so much Teresa 🥰

Thank you so much Loriann! I do miss my shop being open but the mail here is just scary without a mailbox out front. I hope to re open some day soon
It’s so true Michelle….well said. Each to their own I guess. Like you, I LOVE my craft supplies from TEMU❤️❤️
Thank you Kat and absolutely 💯
Very pretty n easy..love the pink
Thank you so much 😊
Great explanation. I knew it, but some do not. Actually, some of our retailers also sell their wares on these sites. You were spot on.
Thank you so much Daphne! It’s true…some cover up as USA but it’s in fact china

I have seen a few comments regarding Stamperia so I need to look into this one ☝️
love watching you create all of the wonderful projects thanks for sharing your opinion about TEMU I have already ordered from them several times !! tfs hugs

Hi Michelle, I love this, its beautiful everything so vintage.💕

Thanks for sharing this Michelle.🌼🌺
I totally agree Nettie and believe me ..most of them are the same sellers 😂💕
This came out so cute! ❤ Those with complaints about Temu should take it up with the company itself and not those who use the products…just saying!!
Absolutely! Don’t shoot the messenger 🙈💕
Wow Michelle, your project came out just beautiful. Very shabby chic. I love it, and I also love ordering from Temu. Thanks for the tutorial. Thank You for bringing us some of the best content on RUclips :)
Thank you SO much Marcella 🥰
Sweet and simple !! Thank you so much💚
I enjoy your videos and I agree with your remarks about Temu and think this should not affect what you love to do ❤
Thank you so much for that 💗🥰
Would love to have the small paper pad you use. And thank you so much for your so clear instructions.
Thank you! You can find this link in my description 🥰

Thank you jasmine and I def would not want to purchase anyone’s copyright. I asked anyone to link anything I might have in that case 🥰

So beautiful!!! I had to make mine different, I didn’t have the chocolate paper - so mine is hot pink, lol.
That works too 🥰😂
I really love this album I took notes the whole time. You have a special section in my notebook
Awe 🥺🥰I’m flattered and thank you
Mine too!
Thank you sharing the hauls! I love the Temu items and love all your ideas ❤❤
Thank you so much Bev!
Thank you for sharing, Michelle. I love all your products. I also order from Temu, sometimes it is hard to by regular price why not save money.
Thank you Grendelia! If I didn’t buy it overseas I would pay more in states ..from people who buy it overseas. Makes no sense to me 🙈
@@Pinkstrawberryz I agree I also started buying from them and they have good quality

Thank you! Who doesn’t love cheap prices 💗🥰
You were spot on! It's just how much you want to pay!
Thank you Carrie 🥰💕
Hello Michelle, so so cute, your amazing creativity! 👏 beautifully put together ❤️ Thank you for sharing, you do such wonderful projects and easy to make. 💐

Thank you Jackie! Love that mostly everyone agrees. I’ve had quite a few comments on my temu videos so I had to just say my point of view on it 🙈💕
Yay! I have lots of Temu paper and they are small, so I needed ideas. I’m commenting only 11 minutes in bcuz the video is great already lol
Haha thanks so much 🥰
I adore the small ones for these other projects
Absolutely 💯💕I would support any local company but the fact of matter is it’s slim picking 🥺
I love this project so awesome thank for sharing
You are so welcome! Ty
And you are right of you look at the back of practically all the supplies
Including things we buy other than crafts they are made in china
Exactly! It’s sad but true. Nothing is made in USA anymore…what can we do?
Love this project. It give me ideas ofvwhat to donwith the papers I purchased. As with any company, there is always someone who will find fault.
Thank you and Absolutely 💯
There have been quite a few comments in my videos so I had to address it before I went bonkers 😂💕
Great project for me to make this weekend
Hope you enjoy it!
Love these ideas. Thanks
You are so welcome!
Hi Michelle, great mini, thanks for sharing. Mary Polanco posted a link of some in depth research on TEMU and it explains many misconceptions that people might have. I’ll try to find it and share.
Thank you Eydalia! 🥰
Love the clips! Found some at Michael's. I watch your tutorials to relax with your designs and skills. There are other media platforms to be political or activist on rights. Personally I watch your videos to be in the bubble for a few minutes.
Exactly I agree. I appreciate that too 🥺It’s our unwinding time from the world. I hated even having to address it 🥺
TFS!!! NOT to worry WE support you some people don't have anything else to do but complain! God Bless
Thank you! I know…it’s a craft channel not political too
I agree with you 1000%. I’m all about saving money so I can afford to craft. YOU DO YOU, AND PEOPLE CAN JUST GET OVER IT!!! ♥️♥️♥️👏
💯💕 We have been price gouged on our own soil…while everyone produces overseas.
❤❤❤❤❤
🥰🥰🥰
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Bonsoir.
Merci beaucoup pour le partage.
Le rendu est superbe.
Merci, pour le Tuto.
Belle soirée.
Amicalement
Thank you so much Nadine 🥰🥰🥰
I'm digging the French. ❤
U said it right Michelle
When ever you put something on the www anyone can use it
It is very hard to copy right crafting and art
Exactly ☺️It’s really hard to seed out 😭
Awesome idea
Thanks a lot
I'd love to be able to buy everything I want/need and have it manufactured in the US. Sadly, it's not feasible as the prices would be astronomical when compared to what is made overseas. I do buy American made items when I can but I will continue to shop places like Temu because of the price, selection, and availability. 😮
The same Sharon, I love to support local farming or crafters but there’s a dime a dozen..let’s be real right?
Hey Michelle! This is very cute! Can not wit to try it?!
Have fun Rhonda 💕💕🥰
I love your work sweet. Question though. Is the base Cardstock.?plz
Thank you Sharon! It’s cardstock but a much thinner one almost like scrapbook paper. I believe I got it in Michaels. It’s 12x12 prob 50 pound or 25 weight
@Pinkstrawberryz ,thank you sweetie
Very cute idea like products that you use they turned out amazing thank you
THEOLA
Thank you Theola!c🥰
Lovely Pocket Joutnal🩷 TFS❤
Thank you! 🤗
Beautiful!
Thank you!🥰
Every thing is
Preach🙏 I’m sure you’re pissing someone off but it’s the truth. Maybe they really just don’t know but in 2023, there is no way they don’t. Turning a blind eye is worse.
Exactly 😬 and thank you 😊
so nice
Thank you! 🙂
Spot on about China. Our Govt made theses decisions. I like Temu
💯 % Barb and thank you
I agree with you!
Every tp
It is known that almost everything comes from China. I've been buying there myself for years. The only problem is the designs. Like Stamperia. That is really imitated and copied almost one to one. That is well known. And that is really something different than printing roses on old invoices. Many of these images can be found on Internet for free. That's not the problem. And of course the tools come from China.
Absolutely Lucy! I guess for myself it’s hard to tell what is copyright and what is not 🙈
I’m not too familiar with stamperia so I will need to look 👀
💯!
To me, there's no difference from mine from Walmart buying from Temu almost every product we own is made overseas from China. And I'm going to shop where I can afford.
Agreed Janice! People seem to forget this lol
I def support local in my area as often as I can..esp farmers. Hobby Lobby is major Made in China 🤯toxic too lol 😂
also in Canada, sorry but I will order from AliExpress, Temu etc..these North American companies do charge us triple but sorry, thats a major consumer rip off and Im not about to be ripped off...they need to lower prices over here, not only art supplies but everything, they take consumers for granted so anytime I can get more for my money, I will...our gov'ts need to give in a little and put some control on what businesses can charge consumers, its so out of hand now
I agree! 💯
Can you do some things with out inking. I totally don’t like the look. Not going to buy any.
Hi Linda! I have just been really into inking these days lol I’m sorry
I do have a-lot of older videos without inking but I will go back and forth with it
