    ABOUT THIS TECH TALK:
The presence of phosphorus in wastewater is an increasing concern and is capturing the attention of environmental regulators. Phosphorus can cause eutrophication in watersheds, which depletes oxygen and negatively impacts aquatic life. Environmental agencies are making swift changes with the goal to reduce the total amount of phosphorus discharged to the environment.
As a result, many companies are seeing lower phosphorus discharge limits from the municipal POTW or when renewing their NPDES permit. Fortunately, there are technologies that can be retrofitted at a facility and provide robust and economical phosphorus removal.
This webinar will provide background information about phosphorus within wastewater and discuss how physical/chemical treatment combined with disc or drum microscreen filtration can help companies cost-effectively remove TSS / phosphorus and consistently meet their permit limits.
After the presentation, you will have the opportunity to discuss with our specialists. If you have specific questions, you are also welcome to send them to us before the webinar.
