    Concerning Camp Devil Dog, yes, it is haunted. I am a retired Marine and former Combat Instructor who trained Marines there from 2004 to 2007. Just search Camp Devil Dog haunted or paranormal and you will see a few websites concerning it. After a few experiences there myself, I and another instructor did a 'ghost hunt' a few times. Armed with a digital camera and digital voice recorder we did have orbs, plasma streaks and many EVP's. I've been touched on the shoulder, heard a rasping sound by my ear on the night land navigation course, captured the 'little boy' humming and crying. These are just a FEW of things I have caught. Would really love to go back there again with a good paranormal crew and do it again.

    Brown Mtn. Lights do NOT occur almost every night. It is completely random and sometimes you can visit from time to time and go years without seeing them.

    And Bentonville battlefield like Williamsburg in VA. You can sometimes hear screams cannon fire off in the distance oddly on cold nights especially. It feels like you are not alone as well.

    • @paparude7724
      @paparude7724 4 года назад

      Saw ghostly soldiers in action while hunting on the battlefield back in the 90s. Also, My dad and I heard troops marching along the old road for about an hour and half late late one night when we were camping there on the battlefield (we have family that lives on a part of the actual battlefield that isn't owned by the state). We could hear metal clanging, hundreds of foot steps, coughing, horses, wheels, etc... it was surreal. I thought it was civil war reenactors, but there was nothing to see... only the sound. Bentonville is Creepy, but cool. I had 3 ancestors fight there in 1865.

    One person mentioned Tarboro. There's a retirement/nursing home there, where I worked as 3rd shift nurse, called The Fountains of the Albemarle that has a few stories attached to it. I'm not sure when it was built but I do know in the early 1900s it was a hotel, and I understand hotels, hospitals and nursing homes tend to be quite haunted.

    I’m from New Bern NC and still live here. I’ve done A LOT of paranormal research in A LOT of places here, and around the state. The weeping arch at Cedar Grove and many of the tombstones there are said to drip blood, truly enough it really does look like it. But it’s only rust and the red sediment that comes out of the minerals that make up the arch and tombstones. But there are SOOOOOOO many places here to research and investigate!!!

    Thanks for the battlefield suggestion. I just finally got certified in the Paranormal. I'm going anywhere that says haunted. I also worked at the Biltmore Estate. Yes it's haunted! I worked in the kitchen at the Stable Cafe. Pots and pans would fly off the shelves. Yes no joke! I tried taking pictures in the house in the basement where the pool is from it being haunted by a child that drowned in it. The pictures didn't turn out, they came out black??? Yes ghost can stop themselves from being seen. I've been to the Devil's Tramping ground too. Cops will ask you to leave there. Don't camp there. A kid a long time ago disappeared while camping with his family. Also strangely named Max. When there, your electronics won't work!!!! Yes nothing grows there from the Devil tramping the ground and making it impossible for seeds to sprout. He searches for his next soul to take. There is also rumor there is nuclear material in the ground in many spots. There is more then one circle. Supposed to have been a area for nuclear bomb testing??? I found this from documentary on it. Hope I've helped. Check out my channel for almost live paranormal explorations. MaxsParanormalInvestigations.blogspot.com also on Twitter. Please subscribe, like, and share! I need help getting my channel to grow. Namaste. ✌❤

They talk about them up there.If you check the logs of Camp Lejeune; back in 1972, there was a shooting at the back gate and the person shot was a female. This is one of the people that walks their Camp today!! Ghosts are only formed are here because they can not get closure to go home. Something needs to happen to allow her or him to transition!! Some are angry, some are not. It is that simple.

    When I was little I used to live in Brunswick County, NC (Which is near Wilmington) so visiting the Battleship was something that My Mom, Dad and I would do regularly. As I have gotten older my Parents would tell me all of these experiences they had while we would visit. (At the time the TV show Dawson's Creek was being filmed like right outside of the battleship) I never believed them until one day I made them take me and now that I have 2 more sisters we all packed up and went to Wilmington for the day and when we visited the battleship this time, the further and further down we went my 5 year old sister started getting freaked out and eventually crying, when we all got back up to the top of the ship I asked her what was wrong and she said a big man was following her. Then before the tour was over me and my Dad had wondered off into the kitchen and we heard the sounds of pots and pans and things of that sort. I was severely creeped out so when we left all they had to say to me was "Do you believe us now?" (Just an F.Y.I I am the daughter of the owner of this account telling this story.)

    Why hasent infared and spectography been used to ID the brown mountain lights..I would be willing to do night recon on the mountain to solve this really cool mystery...also remember ..it's right next to linville gorge which is a giant very ripped open steep valley. ..all the surrounding valleys including the one between linville gorge and brown mountain are fairly smooth and treed...so the lights might be plasma associated with a fault running down the linville gorge

    I've been stationed in New River for 3 years and heard of the legends in and around Lejeune, devil dog, geiger cherry point and Wilmington. I have not seen any crazy shit around here. I think it's just in people's heads. A bunch of people telling lies, just like in the Bible. There just legends

    I live like 10 min from Brown mtn, and no you do not see them every night......ive seen them a hand full of times out of hundreds of times visiting there...... The lights change color and form ...... They're hard to explain what they look like and how they form...... Don't be like the fake news and please get the story right... It kills me that some one that's not from here explains what the lights do and what they look like.... When I have seen them first hand from wisemans view

    Wilmington's not haunted. It's just full of heroin addicts which closely resemble ghosts. I've always lived in NC and didn't know some of these stories! Very interesting and has me itching to visit them now.

    lol "i know a little bit about the haunts down there, little less than I do Michigan. But I know about the same amount"... that sentence is impossible. you can't know less and know the same amount. Also, the Brown Mountain Lights have been witnessed from as early as 1200. Says so on the sign at Brown Mountain Overlook on NC181.
