Like it doesn't take that long to search up the lyrics of the song and make that connection. Like "stick it down your throat " to induce vomiting, idk how that didn't translate
Melanie has confirmed that there will be another movie and she's working on it right now 🙌🏾 Also a lot of script had to be cut because of budget so originally the school was supposed to burn down instead of floating and disappearing in a bubble. So the song you heard in the credits (Fire drill) was replaced with recess.
OJ is about bulimia.... is a tough subject for me because i suffered from it. Just like you squeeze the insides of an orange until there's only juice, you squeeze your insides to be skinnier...
also the things you said about the way her hair is half dark half colorful makes so much sense, i've never thought of it tht way cause she had that hair since like... 2014? but yea that makes so much sense wow
The Principal(if you dont know) is abt Donald Trumps presidency(dunno if thats a word) in the US also you should watch/listen to the After School Ep songs next
Yea, Watching it only once and not knowing much about Melanie doesn’t always give you the actual message of every song but watching it more than once will make you understand her massage through her music so I don’t expect you to know what every song means. Still exited to see your reaction to the film tho.
Nah you should’ve watch all the mv in cry baby first before watching this film. K-12 film is the continuation of cry baby. “Cry Baby is Melanies name in the film, because that what her mon called her in her Cry Baby MV”
Her mom calls her that but it's her name because her brother puts it on the birth certificate. I agree that he should have watched all of the Cry baby MVs first. It's really important to understand the character when going into the film.
I don’t know if any of y’all noticed but crybaby never had her abilities until after her father had died, so I feel like her father has a huge part in her abilities and her eyes turning black, that’s why I’m class fight she says “daddy chimed in go for the threat” maybe hinting that when her eyes turned black it’s like her dad, going in and taking control of her to protect her, cause notice she mostly has her eyes turned black when in danger
Correct me if I!m wrong but the true ending was suppose to be the school getting burned down then fire drill plays... Ughhh i rlly wish they went through with it
@@pre102honestly I can't blame them, it was Melanie's first time as an actor, director, story filmmaker, choreography and basically the most important parts, it was only played one night in theaters, and Melanie had a somewhat bad reputation bc of the Tymothy drama, and they still give out 5 million dollars to produce the film, let's hope mm3 (third continuation of crybaby story) movie to have more support thanks to the large success that was k12 :D
She also released fire drill and copy cat as a single in the spring of 2020. Before releasing the afterschool ep in the fall of the same year. Which she scrapped fire drill and copy cat from and left them as singles, replacing them with new songs since the ep was pushed off due to covid. The EP is from Melanie’s perspective and point of view. Not her character crybaby from her studio albums, reflecting more personal songs that aren’t tied to the story of the movie at all.
Btw orange juice Clip and bathrooms speech is my favorite scene along with High School Sweethearts video. Actually who am I kidding, I LOVE THE WHOLE DAMN MOVIE 😂😂😂💚💚💚💚
She said she already has the concepts for the next 2 films (aka. next 2 albums) but she has not said anything yet about filming & now cuz of COVID idk. Hopefully she’ll start filming soon🙌🏼
When the film ends it actually starts again !!! If you play it one more time you will finally understand what she was talking about at the beginning of the film, about her dream. She was not dreaming, the story is repeating on and on, like it never stops. I believe that they won't do a second film because of it.
Also, not sure if you realise this by the end of the video, but the whole film is essentially a critique/expose on America and in greater terms the world. Ie the principal is about trump, so the nurses office could be seen at a request to leave this world (society) - which makes it even darker. Super interesting to watch through that perspective.
You’re one of the only people I’ve seen reacting to K12 actually stop and listen to Fire Drill as well! I really appreciate that, this was a pretty cool reaction
Frabizio there is a new 2 film coming up that was Melanie said at her interview and Instagram stories... And I think the eye scene on Orange juice was about Melanie giver her eye to fluer so she can see her self the way Melanie see her.
The scene where she's in the field laying down talking about not wanting to be there was her using astral projection to talk to Lilith, it had nothing to do with plastic surgery
orange juice is actually about bulimia, the eating disorder in which one binges then purges. the switching of the eyes was so she could see herself how everyone else does
@@clay9909 purge = throwing up/ urge to throw up binge = it's like overdoing of one thing, example : binge eating means over eating or constantly eating, like that
He still did not get it that orange juice is about eating disorder
It can be a bit hard to understand when you don't know much about eating disorders specifically bulimia
yeah I didn't get orange juice back then too but now I know🙃
Like it doesn't take that long to search up the lyrics of the song and make that connection. Like "stick it down your throat " to induce vomiting, idk how that didn't translate
I didn't get it either.
@@mariroldan7151 exactly like she said bulimia
in the song

since 2011 actually when she was like 15 or 16 her multicolored hair represents the contrast between light and darkness
@@BeyondMagical Actually she got it done in 2012 and hasn’t changed it since. Crazy it’s been like this for almost 9 years
"I'm not gonna say the B word because I'm tryna keep it PG"

"trying to ignore it, it's fucking boring.." lmao
Lmao I was about to point that out 💀
And literally called Kelly a bitch a few minutes later
'im hoping this film clears a lot of things'

You really need to watch Crybaby music video, Crybaby is Melanie's alter ego name, the caracther that sing the most part of her songs.
The scene where she's in the field laying down talking about not wanting to be there was her using astral projection to talk to Lilith, it had nothing to do with plastic surgery
