That's impressive a little four cylinder engine in an SUV could keep pace with the legendary 3.5 from Toyota. I'm impressed! Tune that escape since it has a turbo and the RAV4 will be seeing taillights 😂
I don’t want to be rude but reaction time doesn’t count twords your end time in any way. If your looking at who crosses first sure but the reality is someone could sit there for a full 3 seconds before taking off and still run the faster time and thus win. 🤷🏻♂️
TechJunkie the Escape with A turbo has more torque which is what moves the car off the line...and the RAV4 has more HP which helps after the vehicle is moving. what gave you your first clue that A TT Escape would annihilate A NA (naturally aspirated) RAV4...? you're A genius. insert face palm here PS..Ford doesn't make A TT V6 Escape. its the Explorer and possibly the Edge that have the 3.5 Ecoboost which is TT (twin turbo) the Escape is too small for that much power. the V6 RAV4 never had A turbo option. some company made A supercharger for it a while back, but I've never seen it on any RAV4 yet.
TechJunkie 1.5 2.0 2.5. those are the engine choices for the Escape. not the 2.7TT. Look at Ford's page. it makes sense the Edge would have it but I didn't look at the Edge...The Edge is heavier.
Hate 1/8th mile drags... 1/4 is way better.

Forced induction and still smoked by Toyotas lazy 3.5 v6
@@n300zx931lazy? The v6 rav4 was the fastest suv at the time in 2012..😂 don’t disrespect the 3.5

With these, it really comes down to the driver reaction.

@@truthtimetv4575 I know that lol
Escape driver should have TC off, load brake into boost and let go, makes a huge difference in the launch.
86 escape owners down voted this. I own a 2.0 ecoboost escape, BTW.
I'm thinking about buying one, how are you doing with that escaoe 2.0?
2.0 is beautiful with more power than you’d honestly expect. I have the 17 black on black
I like ford escap it is very good care
Like Escape.
You can make that Toyota 3.5 run
Wtf is my dad's car doing on that race (the black one)
Looks like it would be a drives race. The escape fell asleep at the line and lost by that amount.
The Toyota can escape faster than the Escape can :)
Ford escape 2.0l and Toyota 3.5L, alot different
@@samuelizuelu2120ford escape has a whole turbo lmao
What did both run?
they're still going we'll update when they finish.
Beau skillz a filmer les temps.
blew the launch
dusty fleissner who did?
Whoops..I'm just as stupid. I meant to say naturally aspirated.
C où? St-eustache?
St-Tite.
those suvs had a quarter mile time of "eventually"
also later start at ford
Yes that’s right
Lmao the escape was sleeping at start he should have break boost my 2017 would beat that rav4
the Twin Turbo V6 Escape would annihilate the Rav 4

Lights-Guns-Outdoors Ford has the option of a Twin Turbo 2.7L V6 on the Titanium Escape and the Edge Sport

comparing twin turbo to a naturally aspirated engine, that is genius.
