Of course they can’t be really big animals that can fight the lions completely or the lions wouldn’t be able to eat. I think probably because of public perceptions they’ll probably give them an animal that has already been killed, like a quarter or something to not depending on how many lines there is. I hope that there are a plethora of rabbits in that high grass.

If they've never been free, do they know how to hunt on their own? I know they have the instinct, but if they're used to being fed, they haven't ever hunted. I hope they do alright. Is there enough prey or are they given food regularly?

They have to have been transported to Puerto Rico and kept in captivity. There is no such existence of lions in my home land. Grateful to hear that they have been rescued and relocated ❤

I remembered going to the Mayagües zoo as a kid. Many times after school before I went home. I'm glad they are released to a sanctuary.
