Hi, great show always. That is the Guitar of my dreams, I broke my neck (not guitar neck) and cannot afford any guitar. I lost everything trying to hang onto life, been tough. I walk but not great, my hands need rehab, I gigged 30 years, got Hurt as a SteepleJack. Crushed shoulder & neck. You are so lucky, I cannot enjoy it, but watching you show is as close as I will ever get. You are a lucky man, enjoy it. Be well my Friend. Keep the shows going.
It's the first time I've seen you with a V. It looks really good on you And you really make it sound great. I have one just like it in black. Unfortunately mine came with a broken logo on the headstock that I had to fix.
Pixxy, lovely guitar you make it sound like a million dollars. I followed the link and sure this is a cheap guitar. I had a careful look at the picture of the back of the headstock. They have removed the sticker that indicates where this amazing guitar is made, luckily we see this in your video. And it's funny because the finish of this guitar very much reminded me of the fake Les Pauls coming out of China. So sparkly and beautiful. I hope you make this one a keeper in your collection. Just for the eye candy element to it.
Gorgeous color on that flying V. Sometimes I come back to this channel from time to time hah. Been following every since the Chinese guitars... found that topic fascinating back then!
That's a great sounding guitar Bro.! I am completely blown away not only by the guitar but also by your great playing! Thank you so much for sharing it with all of us.
Steve Likeeee !! Was listening to you play in this video catching some sun. Straight away I started thinking 'wow, this bridge pickup sure sounds similar in it's attack and the way it handles the bass, mids and treble, particularly when you rolled off the volume to Eddie's bridge humbucker on the track' Mean Street' and then you started playing it 😂😂😂😂🎸🤘🏻❤👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Wow that is awesome!, I’ve been sitting on a precision guitar kits 58” Flying V body for over a year now., all Gibson electronics and hardware ready to go, was thinking pimp gold metalflake, but now… that blue is outrageous! This vid is giving me the push to continue with that project again!, I can always make room for another killer axe, thanks for sharing!
As a user of Vs for years, I can confirm...it's the most comfortable stage guitar to play (besides my prized, priceless ESP star), as long as you shift the rear strap pin down the upper wing so the weight shifts evenly (no neck dive). Something about the V/X type guitars make you feel so one with the guitar on stage. What made me switch to the ESP star was that the lower wings made for a better guitar sitting down as well, not just standing up.
I've never gave much attention to any Epiphone guitars, up until a while back I've been on a Flying V kick. Bought a 67 Reissue Epiphone Flying V a month ago and was pretty shocked on how comfortable and as you said how it vibrates and resonates.
Your info sheet lists the tuners as Vintage Deluxe (antique white knobs). Those are what come on the regular black V. Those tuners are Grover Rotomatics, the same as the regular Explorer and Les Paul 60s
The only criticism I have is the fact it's not mine. By the powers of Davy Jones, it brings a tear to me glass eye....arghhh. sniff...sniff Jack ~'()'~
ZZound is my go to place , but I bought two pair Epiphone pro buckers and harnesses put one set in SG copy and the other pair in a less Paul copy 100% improvement
15 years ago, my first guitar was an Epiphone Flying V, but with a Floyd. I still have it, but it hangs on my wall now. Too many memories and it needs work. I could fix it, but I have 4 other guitars, so I'll keep the memories - and I don't like Floyds now. But that thing is a beast!
Very nice. My wife blames you because I just purchased a Dehumidifier after watching your live show on Saturday and you mentioned you had a few in your house. It's been brutal here in NJ with the humidity. She will get over it when the humidity drops in our house. 😀
My first video and I like it! I’ve been watching trogly’s guitars from 2016 to last week and there are just too many crybabies whining about brands and prices and manchildren that try to get the first comments so I think I’ll watch you, lots of positivity here and relaxing videos!
If I had a time machine, I would take the Wilkinson bridge they put on the Ibanez string through and give it to Gibson before they invented the Les Paul
I'll be honest I thought this was going to be very expensive.. I was very surprised at the price for this unit..with that paint scheme ..I had to have ONE too 😂😂😁😁😁😁😁😁thank bro awesome vid
I wound up getting a special 1 LP, they drove screw a little to hard and split neck a little. Retailer wanted me to pay for shipping back, I told them Ill get more miles out of reviewing it on YT instead 🤣Seems like you get what you pay for in Epis. Yours is sweet
I Love Flying V guitars! I hate Sparkle finishes... was NOT expecting that, lol. Would that be seen in the hands of KK Downing? Not sure. But if you love it, that is all that counts Steve, love your vids.
I think Steve could take a wal mart first act and make it sound killer! He probably already has! Ive got a couple epis. Pleased with them. Ill be grabbing one of these next.. dont have a v...yet👍
Gibson seems to be giving a lot of attention to flying Vs in the last 2 years and I'm here for it. If Epiphone does a good '67 V, black or white with the chrome pickguard and the sharper headstock like Paul Stanley/Lenny Kravitz...then count me in. I'll release my Gibson strike.
That thing is flat-out awesome. It looks like a bass boat.
It’s funny, whenever I see someone towing a boat, I’ll look at the color and go “That would look great on a guitar” 😂
A 1950s Chrysler bass boat. 😂
Lol I read you comment before I seen the guitar but as soon asi seen it knew what you meant haha niceeee
Love the color reminds me of bumper cars at Whalom Park!
Steve that is wicked sparkly!!! A nice Zzounds exclusive. Rock on!!

Get better! Don’t give up! You’ll make it through!🎉🎉🎉
Was the gig bag included ? Very Awsome instrument loved the demo
It's the first time I've seen you with a V. It looks really good on you And you really make it sound great.

What amp and effects are you using Steve? Sounds awesome
I'm not a big Epiphone or Flying V fan, but that thing is sweet. I love the 3-D Epi emblem on the headstock! They killed this one.
That’s why we call them epigarbage ! 😂😂
I wish they were as good as epi fanboys claim them to be. Every one I get has terrible frets. @@Angelo-fo8de

At Carlsbro back in 1980, we had a pair of Les Pauls in that finish. One blue, and one red.
Gorgeous color on that flying V. Sometimes I come back to this channel from time to time hah. Been following every since the Chinese guitars... found that topic fascinating back then!
Beautiful. very nice. well done, mate. 🤘🏻
I'm liking it more and more! Looks way better than stock photos!
Just got back into watching you tube creators and i am glad you are still on here. followed you when you had under 5,ooo subscribers.

Nice… that finish was very unexpected!
That's just beautiful!
Absolutely beautiful!!!!

Sounds siiiiick dude 🔥👍..wait, more iiiiiiiiiiiiii's 😅
That is an awesome looking guitar 👍
I am invested in getting one, I wish they would have offered the Grovers on the orange sparkle V.
They say the big advantage to the V is instant upper-fret access, no cut-outs required. Looks like Steve enjoying that aspect! 😊

Sure looks and plays the part Steve! A rockin' machine in an interesting color/finish.
❤❤❤❤❤ That Flying V suits you, Steve! Rock on sir and thank you for the review! They were fun to develop.
😊

Steve, You are one Hell of a player!!!! Tasty and true.
That’s very nice!
I’ll have a V someday, but I’m saving for my first Les Paul.
Hi Steve - looks awesome!
I picked one of these up after your great review !
Ordered mine through AMS as they also have the sparkle finishes available. Killer guitar for sure!
Your info sheet lists the tuners as Vintage Deluxe (antique white knobs). Those are what come on the regular black V. Those tuners are Grover Rotomatics, the same as the regular Explorer and Les Paul 60s
Dude's got some rippin' licks and killer pinches !
That guitar looks incredible!!!
Sometimes I like going middle position with the toggle, then turning the neck pickup volume down halfway to 2/3rds down for some rhythm applications
Nice Randy tribute thank you
How the neck feels with that paint, is it sticky?
Great looking guitar!
Cheers.
The Epiphone Jared James Nichols models look pretty cool. They're on Zzounds. Epiphone is killing it right now.
Stunning.
The only criticism I have is the fact it's not mine.
By the powers of Davy Jones, it brings a tear to me glass eye....arghhh. sniff...sniff
Jack ~'()'~
That’s a keeper for sure
Beautiful guitar! Are Epiphones considered decent compared to a few years ago? From what I’ve seen recently, they look solid.
Epiphone has stepped up their game in theses last few years
Awesome video Steve and love the color of that V.
Give me a cocked wah, a V and a good amp and I'm good sound wise.
ZZound is my go to place , but I bought two pair Epiphone pro buckers and harnesses put one set in SG copy and the other pair in a less Paul copy 100% improvement

That’s Killa 🤘
Always cool reviews ! 🤘😎
Great guitarist, pleasure to watch and listen. Not only Bonamassa in the house
Sparkly
I have a 2015 Harley softail deluxe , same color. Hard candy cancun blue flake
Was hoping for a medley of ACCEPT ... lol.. Balls to the wall man.. looks awesome.. fit and finish look to be good.. sounds good.. winner..
Zzounds and AMS have the exclusive run guitars. These are awesome for the price!
SWEET !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dude, you're a wicked guitar player.
Hey, great review.
Do you know if there would be enough space under that pickguard for a 9v battery?
Oh he's back!! Yes! I love this guy (thought he was called Pixie too??)
Very nice. My wife blames you because I just purchased a Dehumidifier after watching your live show on Saturday and you mentioned you had a few in your house. It's been brutal here in NJ with the humidity. She will get over it when the humidity drops in our house. 😀
I like the blue but the Purple is even betterest. so I ordered that.
My first video and I like it! I’ve been watching trogly’s guitars from 2016 to last week and there are just too many crybabies whining about brands and prices and manchildren that try to get the first comments so I think I’ll watch you, lots of positivity here and relaxing videos!

That thing is sick!!!
649 not a bad price point! I love it
That’s sick!!!!
Color is amazing
Man the tone
I purchased mine from A.M.S.,purple metalflake about $700.00 !Beats $10,000,from Gibson custom shop !
oooooh sparkly.
Love that! And the price 👍🏻
I'll be honest I thought this was going to be very expensive.. I was very surprised at the price for this unit..with that paint scheme ..I had to have ONE too 😂😂😁😁😁😁😁😁thank bro awesome vid
You need that V Steve!!!!
Are American Music Supply owned by Zzounds because they have the same guitar too.
Looks awesome 😎
How will this guitar or one of its variants hold down tuning to A standard, 14 being the high string and 58 the low,
Cool playing, Are you a old metal fan?,Van Halen and so on,,,Nice sound ...
Shredlicious! 😈🤘
Wicked guitar, shitty bag (should come with a case). Incredible color.
Only one MAJOR problem. It’s RIGHT-HANDED. 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
🤘
I wound up getting a special 1 LP, they drove screw a little to hard and split neck a little. Retailer wanted me to pay for shipping back, I told them Ill get more miles out of reviewing it on YT instead 🤣Seems like you get what you pay for in Epis. Yours is sweet
Wow nice sound what's the name of your band
I Love Flying V guitars! I hate Sparkle finishes... was NOT expecting that, lol. Would that be seen in the hands of KK Downing? Not sure. But if you love it, that is all that counts Steve, love your vids.
Schenker in the house!
Steve! You're lucky dude 😎
I think Steve could take a wal mart first act and make it sound killer! He probably already has! Ive got a couple epis. Pleased with them. Ill be grabbing one of these next.. dont have a v...yet👍

Looks like the paint job on my old bass boat
Sounds great as always but you’ve never looked better you could wear that thing to a wedding. Can’t see you sending that back 🤟
What is the black in-lay for?
😅 that was the last thing that i've expected
Sickening
Nice looking and that guitar is really sounding fantastic. It would be a "definitely" pass for me.
I always preferred the offset "sharks fin" style of v to that classic v shape but dang that is a beautiful guitar. ❤
Very nice épiphone.here la France
Sweeeeett!!!!!
(...play this all day)...so could Michael schenker ! 😊
I want an explorer but i hate that fret board material
What's the difference?
oh man, i am GAS-ing for the purple sparkle V but I already own a gibson V....I....don't need another guitar...🤣
Ha ha first lick Randy Roads of course.
