There are only two makes of umbrellas: Knirps...and the others. ;) I use Knirps umbrellas for about 20 years ago. They are best of the best. My last buy was a T.200 last month. Fully happy with it.
A previous, expensive model of mine broke when a gust of wind hit it while I was opening it. It was 6-7 years old, but it hadn't been used much, so I was disappointed. What happened was that one of the ribs didn't properly open, broke, and ripped the fabric open. I suppose it is important to keep one's umbrella well oiled. So... Just came by to share that tip: keep your umbrellas well oiled.

Great umbrella! Last 20 years use Knirps. For travel all around the world! Nice new knirps with UV filter!
