There might be more updates on this or eventual rug/scam - hoping other airdrop people who have talked about this, will mention the warning forward!

Was always skeptical of Grass. I mine it on a computer with nothing on it not on my main network with a burner wallet.
Hi, thanks for the info. About a month ago, they added the option to install what they call, a "grass community node", so, not the regular browser extension from Chrome but, an extension installed via an .exe file and a .crx file. Do you, by any chance, know about that? Or, more importantly, how to uninstall it properly?
@@romanescalante130 that likely is even more dangerous
Guys, look at the code yourself, there's nothing there, I inspected it, went to the folder and the information is as it should be.
ffs I farm grass. Oh well, got no money anyway
old news. don't panic. clickbait. already answered on discord.
this is not latest video
@@LiteLiger Guys, look at the code yourself, there's nothing there, I inspected it, went to the folder and the information is as it should be. Anyone can open DevTools and look for themselves, there is nothing there as much greed for increasing Airdrop allocation
If I ran the grass extension in a cleaned browser Opera but I used Chrome to do all my navigation stuff, do you consider I am safe? I have never used the Opera browser (in which I installed that Grass extension) to do other thing than running grass. Moreover, I never installed the app Grass on my computer.
great video man, i will share it with community
Great video, but what should people do which have installed that browser ?
Do we need to remove it, run a Virus Scan and change ALL of our passwords even ones not used / saved by auto fill or is there an easier way to fix this ?
@@tpsynft clean cookies
@@LiteLiger Thanks fam, cleared my all my cookies from all time as I installed grass right as it released so wanted to be safe
@@LiteLigerbro clean cookies for chrome that is running grass or all chrome?
doesn't hurt to clean all chromium based browsers.
Check Seb Montgomery's latest update. Looks like he spoke to someone on the team and cleared things out. Seb should come out with a video about it tomorrow he said 🤙
my rebuttal to his video is out very shortly, hes been lowkey censoring me.
Hey man thanks a lot for this video, what's the chrome galvanizer official link?
thehackerblog.com/galvanizer/
I warned against them from the moment this project appeared.
Have changed the passwords and did a virus scan and deleted all cookies. Is my metamask and Solana wallet in danger. Did exported my metamask keys one time. Can my wallet still be hacked or am I safe now?
AFAIK, your wallets should be okay - coz the seed is not stored on the browser. Idk if cursed chrome is there to just view what the victim is viewing or does it actually give access to whole browser itself like a teamviewer, i have to dig into this more.
Why would anyone run Grass as an extension or otherwise given there’s been no clear statement on the date and type of rewarding for those who used the extension to make the Grass project run?
people are greedy and do lot of stuff for free money
and what about nodepay who s doing the same thing ?
extension is safe for now.
your nodepay account is not if your account gets leaked online i could change your accounts password easly
what about Nodepay bro, i'm scare.....
Well the application is a dummy at this point, my source checked it and its okay, but its not selling bandwidth, its doing nothing
@@LiteLiger okey thanks, your channel is very usefull. Good luck !
hope that your notepay account dosent get leaked online
Hey
hoi
WEEEEEEEEB
Instantly booted from their discord without even any explanation when I asked what is going on
This is almost certainly a scam, no reasonable mods or devs would boot like that.
Smells like a scam big time.
@@greydaniel69 damn
You asked about the cursedchrome usage and they kicked?
Of course they will kick you... if you are questioning the code it is because you know how to use DevTools, and if you know how to use Devtools you can see for yourself that there is nothing there. For them you were a bad character with bad intentions
@@LosHobosLocos Yes, they monitored everyone's speech. I was just reminding everyone to pay attention to wallet security, change to a new wallet, and transfer assets, and then I was kicked out of the channel
I would delete this video if I were you
Why? Would you be scared of life threats?
why? lmao
Good, you're not him@RikardoKermat
Threat?
@@gabrielahlidza973 Why? That does not anwser the question.
"Lack of transparency regarding who is working on the team and the CEO hasn’t really made public appearances, only the CTO who has active lawsuit against him as of right now"
Skill issue, you can watch the CEO interviews, pretty much public & available to watch lol.
Uninstalled
hey
My wallet was stolen last week without any authorization, without clicking on phishing websites, and without being infected with viruses, but I still got stolen inexplicably, as if a scammer knew my password
Good to know! Thanks for pointing it out! If the Grass extension is installed on a separate Chrome profile (a profile dedicated to Grass only and run separately), do you think it would be safe?
I Don't think so, the best way would be on isolated device, like Helium miner
Thats a cool idea, esp as lora miners arent as.. productive as they once were.
Have you seen guides for this idea? Or if youve done this yourself, were you able to remove local network permissions on your miner? Assuming I am correctly understanding what ive read about cursedchrome having some access to the local network?
@@LosHobosLocos look into crankk its a service that allows u installing multiple miners into helium
Aw fk...
Could you make a video on how to be safe after using that extension?
TIA!
nvm, you already did it, i'm sorry, i was VERY nervous at beggining of the video
Ao uninstall and clear cookie and cache. Some other things? I don't know how to work with chrome cromilazer
BUT again, are you suprised?
most of crypto projects are scam
Thanks for this. I really dont trust it as well.
But you are saying at one point that the code is no longer in the extension and then you kind of just circle around that like its not of the utmost importance.
That was a theory, not a fact. Seeing that the admins are banning people on discord for asking this, proves that there is still malware in it.
So only when you have the extension they can enter your browser, otherwise not and they can go back in history?
They might have collected data prior like passwords and cookies - general data. So just go changing passwords
can they see the rest of my pc and programms and so on ?? i mean have they a way to see outside of chrome ???
@@billsian3d i dont think so
Is it only chrome that is affected or any browser that can install this extension?
@@1979chyeo maybe even chrome forks like brave, but that might be a stretch
What’s the best course to protect yourself if you were running the extension.??? Tia 🙏
remove the extension, clean data/cookies and set new passwords.
What about the app they just launched for desktop??
my guy is researching it.
What are steps to do now if I was running this extension?
1) Remove extension
2) Virus Scan
3) Chrome Galvanizer Block Extension
4) Change all saved passwords
5) Anything else?
clean cookies.
how about io net
@@jepsparow9363 i think they are the real deal
how can i revoke the extension?
unninstall and clear caches
@@juliana70163 I need help, I am doing it now and I have removed GetGrass extension from my Chrome, what next do I have to do? I've been trying to delete my Grass account but it keeps saying, Invalid Token
