Wanted to do this for a while since I'd made a different evil eye themed bag but I wasn't happy with it IDK if I'll keep this one or send it to a friend or something as It's a bit small for my bag usage

Sorry this reply is a little late I didn't see a notification for it; but the basic circles are 12 in mr, then 24 next round, then final round is 36 before moving to make it square.
I looked online found an actual tutorial (since my video isn't really meant to show how to make the bag, it's just to enjoy the creation process ^^) for this type of square by justbecrafty: justbcrafty.com/2017/04/circle-to-square-granny-square-tutorial.html
If you use that tutorial but wanted it like mine, I just changed my color on every circle row to resemble an evil eye! (if I recall correctly, I used a mix of "i love this yarn" (light blue), walmart brand (black and white), and redheart super saver, (dark blue).
