I'm currently a graduate student and I never heard of Track Changes until today. My professor told me she will complete the revisions on my paper and recommends me to view the changes in Track Changes. This video is super helpful. I will always use this feature from here on out! THANK YOU!!!
One of the best PRODUCED tutorial videos I've ever come across. Excellent voiceover, look, and overall flow. Bravo! Making videos that look this good takes a good deal of time and, most certainly, must come out of a labor of love. Thank you for providing this excellent tutorial for free. Subscribed!
Super helpful. I had one company sent me the Contract with those "Tracking Changes". I was confused. Now I just found this video and it helped me. I accepted whatever I needed in document and even made my own changes and toes to them. Thank you for opening to a new world. Peace )))))
This is a top of the line video tutorials. I really like them all, including the ones for Math, Labs, and Reading. They are always thorough and more importantly correct. Thank you very much for a great resource.
Thank you for producing this tutorial. I didn't even hear about it until my prof said to me '' you should turn on track changes''. Thank you whoever you are I'm familiar with your nice voice.
Best Ever! Perfect voice and concise! Info. I am listening over and over because I am so old fashion with index cards and have an opportunity for a job that uses this feature. Thank you !
Great video! Thank you. I did some reading about tracking changes, but I still needed a couple additional settings worked out. Short, succinct, no filler BS. Subscribed!
Excellent video with a clear and concise explanation. The voice is very clear and the video quality is fantastic ... thank you so much for making such a great tutorial :)
Thank you for this video. I needed to know how to make comments on a word document for a college class. This video stated it quickly and was easy to watch to find what I needed. Again thanks a bunch!!!
Best, Best and One of the Best tutorial about "Microsoft Word". This is the first time, I comment on any video that I like the most. I will refer it to my friends and later so on.
This was great! I saw many others -but this the best. So much easier to understand. She made very clear - should you exactly what she was doing. . After watching I have a hope I can actually learn to use Track changes. Well done and thank you.
Lady, you could work on a document alone and utilise this feature. I love it! I especially liked liked the compare feature. Always wondered what this was about! Thank you again.
This is a fantastic resource! May I have permission to embed this video on my freelance editing website? I will give you full credit. My clients often struggle to know how to use the tracking feature and this video would really help them!
Is there a way to make the line that indicates a change back into a defined line of a chosen color, size, and placement rather than the new (as of Word 2013 or 2016) gray line that is interactive and closer to the edge of the page than the former default line?
To change the placement, you can go to Review > Show Markup > Balloons and choose one of the different options. The tracked changes appear in a different color for each editor by default, but you can customize them by clicking the small arrow in the lower-right corner of the Tracking group (on the Review tab) and clicking Advanced Options in the dialog box. We hope this helps!
Sorry, I might have been too vague, I am referring to the picture that shows up in the track changes, with the editors name. It appears that a picture is associated with the editor, and that makes reviewing easier. Mine, at work, simply show up as a clipart of a person's outline.
Mark Belton You may want to check whether there's a Microsoft account associated with your account. You may get an opportunity to link it to Office 2016 and then make changes from there, though we don't have any experience with this so we're not 100% sure. Hopefully it helps!
Thank you for the useful lessons, quick question: in a documents I have many comments and track changes, here I want to accept all changes and delete all comment and clean the document. how to do this?
Clear, understandable and to the point. No harsh music, or waiting for information. Perfect.

No problem 😊
Will I be able to remove the time of adding a comment? Thank you.
how did you get orange cursor?
How do you setup your photo with the track changes?
For this type of program, this isn't possible unfortunately. You may want to look into photo editing software to see if this is a possibility.
Sorry, I might have been too vague, I am referring to the picture that shows up in the track changes, with the editors name. It appears that a picture is associated with the editor, and that makes reviewing easier. Mine, at work, simply show up as a clipart of a person's outline.

Yes, there is; you can click here for step-by-step instructions: www.gcflearnfree.org/word2016/track-changes-and-comments/1/. We hope it helps!
