The javelin and wall demonstrations are so useful! Never thought of it like that. One technical note is that I do miss the green indicators for the “correct” way. When they’re both red it makes me initially think they are both wrong! 😅
One of the key realisations here is that its ok to hit the shuttle a little right of centre so the racket and follow a straight arc as it returns from behind. If attempting to hit central/middle this all falls apart.
Hi Coach Greetings from Thailand, your videos are always awesome. I have one question how do I swing the late forehand every time I try to hit a late forehand shot it really makes me uncomfortable in my shoulder, I would appreciate if you could demonstrate and explain this swing😊
The javelin analogy seems odd at first, but when I swing with that in mind, the body rotation, arm pull and lastly racquet head release, all sync naturally! 👌 That final frame is a classic!!! 🤣
Many people treat the badminton swing like throwing a shot put. However, the javelin throw is the movement most similar to badminton. You understand very well. also... A classic is something that makes you watch it again even if you know the ending😆

개인적으로 풀스윙 영상을 보면서 2년 넘게 따라해보니 백스윙은 창던지기 느낌이 난다고 생각해왔고 콕을 마추는 순간은 높은 선반 윗면에 다트를 꽂는 느낌이 들었어요. 그래도 반은 잘 따라하고 있어서 기쁩니다~
관찰력과 상상력이 좋으신가보네요. 창던지기를 떠올리셨다니 ㅎㅎㅎ
