Bro absolutely love your videos. As a fellow fisherman over the bridge on Long Island I love how chill u guys are and make great content. Don’t stop uploading I watch every one 🤙 Also would love to go out one day yellowfin fishing if possible.
Great catch. Love catching seabass and flounder when the tuna fishing is slow. It was great speaking to you and Zac at the jersey seminar. Hopefully, Masseys is on fire this year. It's hard to comprehend that masseys is 62 miles for you guys. Good luck this year, and keep the videos coming.
You can go with a low carb version (I am diabetic and am forced to go this route) with a mixture of almond flour and finely ground pork rinds with spices of your choice. Also, olive oil tends to burn at lower temperatures than grapeseed or avocado oil. I recommend the latter and have even found avocado oil that has lemon oil in it which makes a dynamite combo for fish.

Yeah man agree with that the Fluke size limit needs a revision. First year the reg was implemented we caught lots of slot fish. The second year not nearly as many. Black Sea Bass one keeper all summer….Unreal!!!
Thanks so much. I do keep it there from time to time. But it can actually get really rough back there on a hard S wind (which happens all the time in spring and summer). Really beats the boat up. SO much more protected over at the marina
Good vid. In regard to the regs, I’d suggest sitting in on some of the marine fishery council meetings to better understand how the size/bag/season length is determined and what effect even a half inch has on the season. For example you said you think it should be 3 fish at 17” and call it a day. When they selected the slot option, they could have went with 3 fish at 17.5”+ but that would have shortened the season by 23 days and most people hate losing days. The season would have started on May 21st instead of May 2nd. It would have ended on 9/23 instead of 9/27. Even if they did 1 slot fish 16.5-18 and 2 fish 18”+ you’d lose 39 days of the season. It’s a tough line to tow to figure out how to get there when the ASMFC hands down the cut in harvest. If you ever want to chat more about it, give me a shout.
Hopefully goes back to 3 at 18in never liked the slot fish. Just a FYI I’m sure you already know but DEP or fish and game will check your fish by placing them on top of measuring board. Measuring fish by over the top of them can give a false measurement
Seems like the options are 3 fish @ 18" with a long season or 3 fish @ 17" with a short season. Id rather have the longer season. Last year i didn't have an issue catching the over 18" fish.
3 at 17 would be cool. The long season is nice but I always feel like on the latter end we are usually blown out or it's ruined with big hurricane swells
The regs for fluke are going to hurt fluke population, made by people that don't understand fishing. Three over 18 would work. Great editing and fishing trip.
Yes he has a 20' Hydrasports!. As of now our "FLEET" is.......... 43 Ocean "Reaper", 25 Contender "Little Reaper", 20 Hydrasports "Yo Jerr", and our 16 Sea Nymph "River Reaper" . I of course am "ADMIRAL".....ha.
sorry. This was in august 21 I believe. I said that at the intro. We were fishing anywhere from 7-12 miles off Atlantic City. Wrecks were 75-100 ft of water. Thanks so much for watching!
Based on the presentation at latest meeting, 3 fish @19" would actually result in the recreational quota being filled by throwing back undersized fish. So the option would be 0 fish @ 19"
Ha!! Man one of us has to get our 10 pound fluke!!! Took me no time to get my DD tog, but I've been fishing for fluke since age 6 and have zero over 10.
Chris, I agree three at 17 or 18 limit makes so much more sense! Maybe we can get some real common sense experienced fisherman to make these regulations instead of some Poindexter from South Dakota just saying.
The tiny slot was one of the dumbest fluke regulations ever. 3 @ 18 is far better. The expectation is that the slot will be eliminated this season. Can't wait.
I miss the old regulation of the early 2000s 8 fish at 17 inches and we caught consistently 1 after another. Once they fucked with the regulations it went down hill. 18+ are majority females so we’ve been killing 80% females for the last 10 years. NOAA and the rest of these alphabet agencies are corrupt and aren’t here to help us or the species.
If the populations are good go to three over 17". If the populations are dropping then go to the slot system. I don't fish ocean because of sea sickness, so I watch your videos. Been a while since I commented. What are the regulations for registering to fish the Jersey shore? I fished from the shore at Barnagate several years ago. Maybe do a video on the process.
great fishing but all you you tube fisherman don't give any location. I'm not asking for spot burning but it would be nice to know what shore you are off of. So I am starting to give thumbs down for lack of location or date
Nice trip. Always enjoy when you cook your catch at the end.
Thank you so much Mike. I'll try and do a few more catch n cooks.
Thanks very much!!

Thanks so much for the kind words. I'm gonna keep em coming. At least 6 new tuna vids coming from this past fall

Nice meeting you guys as well. I sure hope somewhere turns on real good down by us!!
Yes sirrrrr, I was just watching the big eye tuna video 💯💯💯
Thanks so much for watching!!! Tons more to come
Love the bait mule. Picked one up last year. Best gulp storage I used.
Yeah man. I love em so far

thanks so much for all the excellent tracks!
Thanks I enjoy your videos
You're welcome. Thank you so much for watching
Chris, I couldn’t agree with you more!!! Last year’s slot reg is ridiculous!!! I hope they wise up this year! Thanks for the great content!
Fingers crossed! Thanks so much for watching!
I agree with you on the regs. If you want to keep 3 17.5" fish that's your limit. I prefer 20" myself
Great video.
REAPER!!1
My man!
Yeah man agree with that the Fluke size limit needs a revision. First year the reg was implemented we caught lots of slot fish. The second year not nearly as many. Black Sea Bass one keeper all summer….Unreal!!!
We'll see what they come up with! Thanks so much for watching!
Great video as always. Any reason you don’t keep the contender at your house? Seems like a waste to have the dock with no boat there.
Thanks so much. I do keep it there from time to time. But it can actually get really rough back there on a hard S wind (which happens all the time in spring and summer). Really beats the boat up. SO much more protected over at the marina
good shit! love the cooking clip at the end
thanks so much for watching. I try to add in some cooking from time to time
Chris, I agree! Keep 3 over 17”. Great content as always. Tight lines
Thanks as always for watching James. I even think 3 over 17.5-18 is perfect
I agree 3 fish over 17” would lead to lower mortality rate, and wow they sure looked tasty at the end!
thanks so much for watching Larry!
What do you use for bait in your spot trap? Great videos and love the commentary!
the best is tuna scraps!
Thanks! Looking forward to more adventures!@@reaperfishingnj8623

great commentary man! Let's see what they decide. I would love to sit in some time I just have so much on my plate
what do you bait your spot traps with?
the best is tuna scraps
@@reaperfishingnj8623 what do you look for for a location to drop your traps?
There’s a reef not far from little eggs inlet. This where you guys are?
Hopefully goes back to 3 at 18in never liked the slot fish. Just a FYI I’m sure you already know but DEP or fish and game will check your fish by placing them on top of measuring board. Measuring fish by over the top of them can give a false measurement
Thanks man.

Yeah man it makes no sense. Thanks so much for watching!!!
Doesn’t Zach hav a similar center console of his own ?
Yes he has a 20' Hydrasports!. As of now our "FLEET" is.......... 43 Ocean "Reaper", 25 Contender "Little Reaper", 20 Hydrasports "Yo Jerr", and our 16 Sea Nymph "River Reaper" . I of course am "ADMIRAL".....ha.
I have my spots I wasn't trying to be a spot burner It would just be nice to know what bay you are fishing it would also help local business

So you like the suzukis? I see so many people repower with them.
so far so good Pete!!
What reels and rods did you use
This is my main fluke jigging combo for the wrecks.
ruclips.net/video/QXpLFGRKxeI/видео.html
what does bro do for work
I'll keep that private for now.
3 over 17 is a lot better
New regs for 2024 Zac can’t use hooks. And TD makes a 10 lb flounder trip happen. 🤔
Ha!! Man one of us has to get our 10 pound fluke!!! Took me no time to get my DD tog, but I've been fishing for fluke since age 6 and have zero over 10.
Spear only for me this year…
The accent 😂😂😂
ha!
Good news is the regulations should be changing for this upcoming season. Bad news is no one knows what the state will decide.
hopefully it is a bit better than this year. THanks so much for watching!
Great video. Try avocado oil rather than the olive oil sometime.
Thanks for the tip!

Just hafta register for the NJ Saltwater License. It's free and can be easily done on line. Thanks so much for watching Bee!! Miss your comments!
great fishing but all you you tube fisherman don't give any location. I'm not asking for spot burning but it would be nice to know what shore you are off of. So I am starting to give thumbs down for lack of location or date
Oh no!!😂
Ok will do
East of NJ
Also he often says when it was. He literally says 4 seconds in on this video “21st of August”
I mean the channel name is literally reaper fishing NJ 🤷🤦
Come on really
