So.. I got stopped out today on a coin .. I did everything correctly, I followed all the rules.. I set a proper stop loss based on ATR of the swing high.. Then I shorted.. Not long after that I noticed a large green candle appeared out of nowhere and I couldnt figure out why that would have happened. Right after I watched this video, I went back, put the anchored vwap on and immediately noticed that the coin was EXTREMELY undervalued. Had I known that prior to placing the short, I never would have went short! Thank you for the information!! Another awesome video!

I just started learning about this indicator and applied it to the charts I'm following. On every single one, whenever I anchor vwap to the highest daily volume candle - it ends up being a perfectly accurate support and resistance over the following period!

I like the Channel too - but I gotta say anchored vwap isnt new at all by any means. Brian Shannon has used it for years in his teaching and so have others. But yes it is a good tool. Nice video.

This is similar to looking at the stop loss hunting as a radar of sorts of future catches in an upward trend...but this works good on long plays with seemingly less stress with the chaos of short term volatility...
Right now I'm bagholding BFRI...but if I get bailed out of my position... I will apply the longer term play as you just showed here... although my strategy is to try to roll a 15% profit weekly into the next week... have a plan to pay off the home in one year starting at 500 dollars... I was not a fan of setting stop losses cuz I've lost more money when stopped out of a trade..but BFRI has changed my mind about this tool. Still learning here.

You can use AVWAP's Standard Deviation Lines to create a zone as well... really helps with risk management (e.g. averaging into a bullish AVWAP zone as price retraces back in it. Also helps with Stop Loss placement (e.g. outside the 2nd standard Deviation)...

Have you ever tried using it recursively; i.e. placing a new one on each pullback-to-the-AVWAP? I find with strong impulse moves that turn parabolic you can track its entire path very well this way.

I added 2 AVWAPs to the all time high (~69k) of BTC daily chart but on the second AVWAP I changed it to 2 standard deviations as you showed in a previous VWAP video. BTC follows the lines very well. Thanks again for a great video!

I started using AWAP after watching this great video to see if I could apply it as a useful indicator with my strategy. So far I have some conflicting thoughts that I need help with. I'm working on a strategy for bounce plays after a large run and change in direction, the think I can't fully get a grasp of is what time frame to use since the AWAP seems to change levels depending on the timeframe user in Tradingview. Question 2- if regular uses HLC/3 should I be using the same setting for the AVWAP indicator or do I change it to LOW for tracking a trend off the lows? If AVWAP is the average between all the volume traded in a zone on the chart then why would someone want to see where the LOWEST volume has been traded using (lows). I always thought that I want to pick high volume areas to buy dips and not the low volume areas. What am I missing or miss understanding? Thank you in advance for any help!!

Great video as usual ! Just wondering if we can have a script where in anchored vwap automatically applies on the pivot high low based on custom pivot length for high low calculation. It can do wonders on an hourly chart to give trend change indications.
I'm no coder, but this idea seems doable.

Yes, absolutely! This is a pattern similar to the BB squeeze. I'm still trying different things with AVWAP, will definitely come with several techniques in the future.
