    Thank you for following your passions and creating arguably the best gear on the market.
    This bar has got to be one of the best bar and lines for kiteboarding I have seen. Auto-unswivel / Low V / Small Diameter / Red on Left and Float / 24,22 and 12m Lines / Simple and Effective Clamcleat Depower System
    Thank you!!
    Lots of love from New Zealand! 🥰

      Very nice design. Like the chunky monobloc and the loaded safety line thru to a ceramic swivel. They must have got around the Duotone Clickbar patents…?!

    At last it is red on the left part of the bar !
    It shoud be a standard among all brands.

      I have kited since 1999 and I have never once thought about the color of the bar. All kites will work just as good if you turn the bar upside down on the beach and just connect it to the kite. Relying on color coding just seems way too risky to me.

    • @Baptiste_L
      @Baptiste_L 2 года назад

      @@martinottosson6583 For me it's very important. When I do a backroll, a downloop or just a bad landing after a jump, sometimes I need to react quickly to avoid the kite crashing into the water. And when you've down a loop or a rotation, you may loose some orientation. Having the red part of the bar Red is really helpful. And I don't event talk about beginners during lessons.
      Of course, the kite will fly and react the same way even if the bar is upside down. But for me it's a matter of safety.

    • @RyanNuijen
      @RyanNuijen 2 года назад +2

      Agreed. Red on the left with matching colored steering/back lines. It's just safer and more convenient.

      @@martinottosson6583 everyone has their own experience. What you say makes total sense, but luckily having red on left does not make the bar any less good! So we felt that it was good to go red on left to help people that feel better about it!

      @@damkitu For sure nowadays yes it is the best choice. The more that go to some kind of standard, the better. If I started kiting today with new gear, things might have ended up different. Back when I learned and during my first 15 years as a kitesurfer the line and bar colors or the lack of colors where really all over the place, so relying on red is left was no option. I guess it is just one gear thing more that makes kiting so much easier today.

    What has been implemented to stop the safety line twisting up and breaking like some other brand bars that have this hidden danger ?
    A swivel at the primary release chicken loop connection ?
    I like that you saw something that needed modifying and changed it - unlike other brands that waited 10 + years :)

    Looks very interesting! Havent seen a monobloc system before.. I'm curious if it easily keeps sliding trough the bar.. (because of the bloc)

      Thanks! And yes it’s slide very well through the bar. That was one of the very essential design’s objective!

      It’s just another name for a similar system north has on their navigator bar, which I’m sure you are familiar with as you have north kite name/avatar.
      Still not taking away from the fact it looks like an amazing bar.
      I’m keen to try the reedin surfboards but I’ll need to give my left kidney to afford one.

    • @northfacekiteboarding3831
      @northfacekiteboarding3831 2 года назад

      @@onlyclaude it’s not similar, because with North you can’t automatically unspin your center lines.
      Kiteboarding equipment could be expensive even tough everything is relative;-) All major brands are in the same price range.

    • @onlyclaude
      @onlyclaude 2 года назад +1

      It’s similar in the fact that the flagging line runs inside a rectangular PU tube. But it the same due to a few extra design features which I think are brilliant. But the only real difference is that the swivel has ceramic bearing (brilliant design) and the centre line auto un-twist (also brilliant).
      Same same but different as we say here in Aussie.
      Also correct me if I’m wrong but I’m pretty sure core make a bar with a similar/different auto un-twist system.
      By the way I ride north as well so I do have a clue 😜
      Not sure if you live in Australia but some of the top brand gear is reaching new price highs over here.
      Ultimately I’m not here to split hairs. Just wanted to politely point out the similar difference
      😉

    Does it come with a large chicken 🐔 loop for unhooking?

    • @damkitu
      @damkitu 2 года назад

      Currently we don’t offer a larger chicken loop than the standard one. Personally I have no problem re-hooking with it because it’s wide enough, and I like the shorter chicken loop for the extra range of depower it offers. We will however offer a shorter loop for rope spreader bar.
